As big as it is, if it were in New York City, it wouldn’t even make it on their list of 100 tallest skyscrapers. Walk north on Prospect Avenue to North Avenue. Follow the river back downtown. Walk home.

The Martian Chronicles

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for two jury trials. One pleads out and the other is adjourned. In the afternoon take a nap. Don ‘t do much the rest of the day. Lay around on the couch and watch the entire “The Martian Chronicles” series from 1980.

The Alibi tavern

In the morning drive to the Watertown Plank Road park & ride. Get out and walk east to the Medical Complex. Keep walking east to 68th Street. Walk south to Lincoln Avenue. Pass by the Alibi tavern. Their motto is: “We Gotcha Covered”. Walk west to Highway 100. Walk back to the car. Drive home.

Asteroid City

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Get cases ready for trial on Monday. Walk home. Drive to the Watertown Plank Road park & ride. Walk east to the Medical Complex. Walk south to the Hank Aaron trail. Walk west to Highway 100. It starts raining. Walk back to my car. The rain gets heavier as I drive home. At night watch “Asteroid City” (2023).

Decide to walk no further

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for two hearings. Drive home. Eat breakfast. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk north to Lafayette Place and Prospect Avenue. Decide to walk no further. Walk back home.

None of them happened

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk back home. Eat lunch. In the afternoon drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Walk over to the courthouse. Go in for another hearing. Three cases were set for settlement. None of them happened. Drive home.

Get some money out of the bank

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Send out bills. Do a consultation with a client over Zoom. Walk to the U.S. Bank Tower. Go in for lunch and to get some money out of the bank. Walk home. In the later afternoon walk down to the lakefront. Throw out some bread to the geese hanging out in the park. Walk north to the river. Walk back home.

Mozart’s Magic Flute

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Walk around the courthouse Christmas tree on my way out the door. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Lay on the couch while listening to Mozart’s Magic Flute. Drive back to the courthouse. Go in for a late afternoon hearing. Drive home as it is getting dark outside.

Walk back to the courtroom

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for jury trial. Sit around all morning and do nothing. Eat a turkey wrap in the courthouse cafe. Walk to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Walk back to the courtroom for the jury trial case. Client takes a plea. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home.

Walk out to Genesee Depot

In the morning drive to Waukesha. Walk south on Highway 59 all the way out to Genesee Depot. Walk up to the Glacial Drumlin trail. Walk back to my car. Drive home. Listen to the Minnesota Vikings beat the Las Vegas Raiders 3-0. Yes, that was the final score.
