Drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Walk to the law library on the ground floor. Do legal research on issues for an appeal case. Drive home. At night watch “Emperor” (2012).

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go to six different courts for nine cases. Get it all done quickly actually. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work all afternoon. Walk to an optical store to order some new glasses. Walk home. Clean out my car. At night watch “K-19: The Wdowmaker” (2002).

Down the hall to room G-55

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Walk home. Clean the filter on the fish tank. In the afternoon drive to the jail. Go in for consultations. Walk down the hall to room G-55. Do a preliminary hearing there. Drive home.

Get the whole trial done in a day

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for jury trial. Spend the whole day there. Pick a jury. Present arguments and evidence to the jury. They go out to vote. They come back with a quick verdict. Get the whole trial done in a day. Drive home.

South to Kenosha

In the morning drive south to Kenosha. Park near the lakefront. Walk south along Lake Michigan. Walk west and north around the Kenosha County Courthouse. Walk north a ways on Sheridan Road. Turn around as the sun sets and walk back to my car. Drive home.

Snow piled much higher out here

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Pack up everything for next week. Walk home. Drive to the Watertown Plank Road Park and Ride. Walk east to 84th street. Walk south and east to 68th Street. Walk south to Lincoln Avenue. The snow is piled much higher out here. Walk east to 92nd Street. Make my way north back to the car. Drive home. At night watch the Packers lose to the 49ers in the playoffs. Season is over.

Stacks of CD’s

In the morning walk to the office. Work on downloading evidence from stacks of CD’s onto a hard drive. Walk home. Eat lunch. Walk back to the office. Set up files for next week. Walk home. Walk north on Martin Luther King Drive to North Avenue. Walk east on North Avenue to Humboldt Avenue. Walk back home.

Scan stacks of transcripts

In the morning walk to the office. Work on a variety of things. Scan stacks of transcripts. Walk to the U.S. Bank Tower. Go to the Downtown Kitchen to make lunch at the salad bar. Walk back to the office. Work on scanning more transcripts. Walk home. Walk to the Post Office to drop out some letters to clients up in prison. Walk north on Martin Luther King Drive to North Avenue. Walk east to Humboldt Avenue. Walk south back downtown.

Across the North Avenue bridge

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Run around to four different courts for five different clients. One client speaks no English. Drive home. Eat lunch. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Later walk north on Prospect Avenue. Walk west across the North Avenue bridge. Follow the river back downtown.

Decorations are frozen in the snow

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for consultations. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work most of the afternoon. Walk home. Walk west up to the Marquette Campus. The Christmas decorations at Zeidler Square are frozen in the snow. Walk north and east past the Fiserv Forum. Stop at the Milwaukee Public Market for tacos. Walk home.
