Don't Worry, Be Happy
In the morning walk to the office. It is super cold. Work the rest of the morning. Walk home. Eat lunch. Walk back to the office. Work some more. Walk home. Bundle up some more. It is near zero degrees outside. Walk down to the lakefront. Find some ducks swimming in Lake Michigan. Throw out bread to them. Walk north to Northpoint. Walk over to Farwell Avenue. Walk south to Brady Street. Walk up Brady Street. Walk back home.
In the morning drive around and go shopping for various things. It is super cold outside. Drive home. In the afternoon clean the house up real good. Watch the Green Bay Packers upset the Dallas Cowboys. Packers move on in the NFL playoffs.
In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. In the afternoon walk west on Wisconsin Avenue to 68th Street. Walk south to National Avenue. Walk back home. The sun came out and everything was bright and white.
Courthouse is closed today due to the snowstorm. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Try to go for a walk around downtown. There is more sleet than snow actually. Sucks too much out here. Walk home.
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Start watching “Oppenheimer” (2023). Drive back to the courthouse for a plea and sentencing hearing. Client upset with the results. Drive home. Finish watching Oppenheimer.
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for more jury trial. Stay there all day. Jury reaches a verdict right before 5:00 P.M. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home.
In the morning drive back to the courthouse for more jury trial. Stay there all day for the jury trial. Drive home. At night watch “The Trial of the Chicago Seven” (2020).
In the morning drive to the courthouse for a jury trial. At court all day for the jury trial. Drive home. At night watch the biopic about Irish revolutionary leader “Michael Collins” (1996).
In the morning drive to Waukesha. Walk south through a bunch of subdivisions. Walk east to Highway X. Walk back to my car. Drive to Brookfield Road. Get out and walk north to Lisbon Road. Walk east to Calhoun Road. Walk south back to my car. Listen to the Green Bay Packers beat the Chicago Bears to qualify for the NFL playoffs. I did not expect that to happen this season. Drive home happy about that.
In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. In the afternoon walk down to Bay View. Walk west as it snows along Lincoln Avenue. Walk to 16th Street. Turn north. Stop at the Comales for tacos. Walk back home.
