Second to last

In the morning walk to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Walk to the office. Work for a little bit. Walk west on St. Paul Avenue to 27th Street. Walk south to Oklahoma Avenue. Get a strawberry ice cream cone at Leon’s. Walk west to 60th Street. Walk north to Beloit Road. Walk in a northeast direction to American Family Field. Walk around the empty parking lot as the scattered fans that showed up get ready for the second to last Brewer game of the year. Walk home.

Final series of the season

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Walk to the jail. Go in for a consultation. In the afternoon drive back to the courthouse for another hearing. Walk south to National Avenue. Walk west to American Family Field. Walk around and see the sparse crowd coming to see the final series of the season. The Brewers win, but are still eliminated from the playoffs.

Winning

In the morning clean out the filter on the fish tank. Go to Lambeau Field with Heather, Bryce and Elise. Watch the Packers beat the New England Patriots in overtime 27-24. Always nice to see the Packers winning.

Horse trough

Walk south to Bay View. Walk to Lincoln Avenue. Walk up to 16th Street. Walk past the last horse trough in the city. Walk to the Comales. Eat tacos. Walk home. After dark walk around downtown. The city is active tonight. Spot one goose in Pere Marquette Park. Give it a pile of bird seed to eat.

Get a booster shot

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. In the afternoon walk up St. Paul Avenue to the COVID vaccination site. Get a booster shot. Keep walking out to American Family Field. Brewer fans are only beginning to trickle in for the game. Walk to the McDonald’s on Bluemound Avenue. Suprised by the quick service. Walk east on Wisconsin Avenue back home. Taken in by the city lights around me as people mingle on the streets.

Lobster glasses

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Walk over to the courthouse for a hearing. Go to the State Office Building for an ethics class and get a free sub sandwich. In the afternoon go back to the courthouse for another hearing. Drive to Lorena’s house. Play with Xena in the backyard. She has lobster glasses on today. Very cool.

Raked up

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a couple of hearings. Go to the jail for consultations. In the afternoon drive back to the jail for another consultation. Drive to Lorena’s house. Play on the sidewalk with Xena. Most of the leaves from the leaf fight yesterday have been raked up. We have a grass fight instead. Later walk to the grocery store.

Leaf fight!

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. In the afternoon walk to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Walk home. Drive to Lorena’s house. Play with Xena on the sidewalk. A leaf fight breaks out. We throw leaves at each other. It make a huge mess. The leaves are all over the sidewalk. Its crazy. Drive home. Walk up Prospect Avenue to North Avenue. Stop at Ian’s for two slices of pizza. Walk home.

Gone forever

In the morning wake up stressed. Drive to the courthouse. Go in for jury trial. Case is dismissed. Why did I stress? Drive home. Walk down to the lakefront. Shocked to see that the Bodhi tree has been cut down. This glorious tree is now gone forever. Start to cry. Walk home. In the afternoon I am happy again. I see Xena! We pretend that I am a jet airplane. I put her on my shoulders and run up and down the sidewalk flying back and forth to China to pick up a koala bear. We have so much fun.

Scattered Halloween decorations

In the morning do a water change on the fish tank. In the afternoon drive to State Fair Park. Walk south to Grange Avenue. See Halloween decorations scattered along the way. Walk west to 108th Street. It starts to rain heavily. Stop in a restaurant for a Chinese buffet. The place is packed with people. Continue walking north to the Hank Aaron trail. The sun comes out. The sky is now totally blue. Walk back to my car. Drive home. The sky turns dark once again and it starts to rain. Listen to the Packers beat the Tampa Bay Buccanears.
