Don't Worry, Be Happy
In the morning drive to Waterford. Get out and walk east on Highway 20. Turn south to Highway 11. Walk east back to Highway 83. Walk north back to my car. Walk seven and a half hours. Stop only once to rest briefly on a bench for a few minutes.
In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Send out bills. Walk home. Walk north on Prospect Avenue. Continue walking north through Lake Park. It is bright and sunny. Turn around and walk south back home.
In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Eat lunch. Walk back to the office. Work some more. Walk down to the lakefront. It is nice and sunny. Near Bradford Beach the clouds whip up storms. It begins to rain hard. Get totally soaked. Then it gets sunny and windy. Walk back home as I dry off.
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for two consultations and two hearings. Drive home. Crash out. Do nothing much the rest of the day.
In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Drive home. Drive out to Oconomowoc. Walk north on Highway 67. Turn around after a couple of hours and walk south back to my car. Drive home.
In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Drive to Minooka Park. Walk around in the trails there. It is muddy in spots. Drive to Frame Park. Walk south along the river out to the Glacial Drumlin trail. Walk back to Frame Park. Drive home.
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Drive home. Eat lunch. Drive back to the courthouse for another hearing. Drive home. Walk down to the lakefront. There is a partial solar eclipse overhead. It is not dark outside but the light is noticeably different. Very cool. Listen to the entire Pink Floyd album “Dark Side of the Moon”. Walk north along the lakefront all the way past Lake Park. Turn around and walk home. My knee tendons flare up again.
In the morning drive to the Boerner Botanical Gardens. Walk around. Drive to 76th and Layton. Get out and walk around that area. Drive to West Allis. Walk around in the rain. Stop at George Webb for lunch. Walk some more in the rain. Drive home.
In the morning drive south to the Town of Dover. Walk south into Kansasville. It is all farms down here. It is sunny and nice and the skies are blue. Walk back to my car. Drive home.
In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for consultations. Drive home. Eat lunch. Drive back to the courthouse. Walk over to the State Office Building for a lecture on competency issues in criminal procedure. Walk back to the courthouse. On my way see a goose eating discarded chips. Do two court hearings. Drive west to a Japanese steakhouse for dinner. Drive to Heather’s house to eat a birthday cake in honor of Elise. Drive home.
