Floor of algae

In the morning drive north to Cedarburg. Walk for a few hours in very hot weather. See a pond covered in a floor of algae. It looks like you could just go out there and walk across it. Drive home.

Second day of RW-24

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Get ready for jury trials next week. Send out some bills. Walk home. Walk north tp Riverside. Take in the second day of RW-24. Walk back home.

Catch a rally

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Walk out with more cases than I went in with. The judges ask me to take cases. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Ride my bike north to the Jewish Community Center on Santa Monica Drive. Ride south to Locust Street. Walk around Riverwest. People are getting ready for RW24 bike race. Ride south back downtown. Catch a rally for Palestine as they are starting to march. Ride home.

Long sentencing hearing

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a bail hearing. Walk over to the Secure Detention Building. Go in for a consultation. Drive home. Eat lunch. In the afternoon drive back to the courthouse for a long sentencing hearing. Drive home. Tired and worn out.

Consultation along the way

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Walk over to the jail. Go in for consultations. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Ride my bike out to 60th Street. Get out and walk around West Allis. Do a phone consultation with a client along the way. It is a nice warm day. Walk back to my bike. Ride home.

Library water

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Ride my bike to 60th Street. Get out and walk around West Allis. Stop at the West Allis Public Library solely to take drink of water from their bubbler. The water is very cold and refreshing. Walk back to my bike. Ride home.

Same route from yesterday

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for jury trial. Client jumps on a plea agreement. Trial is cancelled. Drive home. Ride my bike to 60th Street. Walk the same route through West Allis that I did yesterday. Ride home.

North on 92nd Street

In the morning ride my bike out to 60th Street. Get out and walk south past Lincoln Avenue. Turn west and head to 92nd Street. Walk north to the Hank Aaron trail. Walk back to my bike. Ride home.

Graduation party

In the afternoon drive to my dad’s house. Pick him up and drive to my cousin’s house. His son is having a high school graduation party. Eat brats and chips. Drop my dad off and drive back home.

Down here to watch it all too

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk down to the lakefront. See the Navy Blue Angels flying all over the place. There are people down here to watch all of it too. Walk home.
