Don't Worry, Be Happy
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for jury trial. Over lunch drive to Lorena’s house. See Xena. She has a new haircut. It really transforms her whole look. We play in the kitchen because it is raining heavily outside. Drive back to the courthouse. Go in for more of the jury trial. Drive home.
In the morning drive to the Yorkville Elementary School. Walk west to the Dover Inn. Walk south to Durand Avenue. Walk east back to Union Grove. Walk north past the Union Grove High School. They are proudly advertising a Pig Show for May 25. Walk back to my car. Drive home.
In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Drive home. In the afternoon walk to the office to work some more to prepare for the jury trial. Walk home.
In the morning walk to the office. It is snowing. It is cold. It is the return of winter. Work all day preparing cases for trial on Monday. Walk to the U.S. Bank Tower. Eat a cheeseburger and French Fries from the Northpoint Grill. Walk back to the office. Listen to Marquette win in the opening round of NCAA March Madness. Work on sending out bills and preparing other cases for next week. Walk home.
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for five different hearings. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk north on Prospect Avenue. It gets sunnier out the further I go. Walk north on Downer Avenue. Turn around and walk back home.
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Eat lunch. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Drive back to the courthouse for late afternoon hearings. Drive home. Walk to the lakefront. Find a couple of geese and throw out bread to them. A squadron of gulls swoop in and eat most of the pieces. Walk back home.
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a few hearings. Drive to the House of Correction. Go in for a consultation. Drive home. Eat lunch. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk down to the lakefront. Find the same geese from yesterday and throw out some bread to them. Two gulls swoop in and snatch a few crumbs from them as they squawk. Walk up to Brady Street. Walk back home.
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Drive home. Eat lunch. Walk to the office. Work on several files. Walk home. Walk down to the lakefront. See geese noshing on the grass. Walk home.
In the morning drive to the Highway 20 off ramp of I-794. Walk west to Colony Avenue. Walk south to Union Grove. It is fairly quiet and sparse out here. Walk east back to my car. Hike about seven and a half hours. Drive home.
In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Drive to Moorland Road in New Berlin. Walk around out there. Stop at the Arby’s. The food wasn’t prepared very well. Walk back to my car. Drive home.
