Wears out my mind

In the morning do a phone consultation with a client in prison. Drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Drive home. Do another phone consultation. Drive to the House of Correction. Go in for two consultations. Drive to Pick N’ Save. Do some grocery shopping. Drive home. All the consulting wears out my mind.

Want a ride in my car?

In the morning drive to Waukesha. Go to the same parking lot where the George Webb is. Walk south and keep going after crossing Sunset Drive. It is windy and cold. Two different women stop their cars on the highway and get out and ask me to go for a ride with them. I keep walking. The sun comes out towards the end of the hike. Drive home.

Same as the last time

In the morning walk to the office. Work on getting ready for all day consultations with several clients set for Monday. Walk home. Drive to Waukesha. Park near George Webb. Walk south to Sunset Drive. Walk back to my car. Eat dinner at George Webb. They have golf on the television again, same as the last time I was here. Drive home.

Pleasant in the second half

In the morning do a telephone consultation with a client in prison. Arguing the first half of the call and pleasant conversation in the second half. Drive to the parking lot across the street from the Waukesha County Courthouse. Walk south to Sunset Drive. Turn around. Walk back to my car. Snowstorm hits the city a couple of hours later.

Better plea deal

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for consultations. Drive home. In the afternoon walk to the office. Work on several files. Send out an email to negotiate a better plea deal for a client. Walk home.

Waukesha North High School

In the morning drive to a subdivison in New Berlin. Walk around for a while. Drive to the parking lot across from the Waukesha County Courthouse. Walk across Waukesha. Walk up a nature trail out to Waukesha North High School. Walk back to my car. Drive home.

Rivers Crossing Park

In the morning walk to the office. Work briefly. Walk home. Drive to Waukesha. Walk around and around. See Heather on the Glacial Drumlin trail. See geese hanging out on the waterway at Rivers Crossing Park.
