Little League Parade

Wake up late. Walk to the office. Pick up dry cleaning. Walk up Martin Luther King Drive to North Avenue. See the little league parade walking up the street. Walk west to 27th Street. Walk back down Wisconsin Avenue. Run into the lady. Give her $10. Kristine is texting me again.

Skyy

Go to the Safety Building for a couple of hearings. Drive to Racine for a hearing. Drive to Senor Sol to pick up tacos for Latia. Drive to Froedert Hospital. Go to the maternity hospital. Visit Latia. Hold baby Skyy. She is only a few hours old. Go to a client’s house in West Allis to sit in their garage and review files. Go to a lawyer’s office to pick up a file on another case. Go to Orange Theory. Walk up Prospect Avenue to North Avenue. Walk along the river back downtown to the Fiserv Forum. Listen to the Milwaukee Bucks win game three over the Boston Celtics. Big crowd gathered at the Bucks party block.

Recover my energy

Go to the Criminal Justice Facility for a preliminary hearing. Go to the jail for consultations. Drive to Racine. Rain all day. Go to the jail for more consultations. Go home. Zone out. Recover my energy. Rain stops. Walk up St. Paul Avenue. Walk across the Marquette campus. Walk down to the Fiserv Forum. Check out all the new restraurants and bars.

Intermittent bursts

Go to the Safety Building for a hearing. Drive to Racine for a preliminary hearing. Go to the office in the afternoon. Go to Orange Theory. In a good mood most of the day combined with intermittent bursts of stressing out.

Air in the tires

Go to the Safety Buidling in the morning for a hearing. Drive to Green Bay for a sentencing hearing. On the way stop at a gas station to fill up and put air in the tires. The front driver’s side tire was a little flat. Rainy weather all day. On the drive home stop for dinner at Chili’s. They serve me broccoli with my steak. Yuck.

Darkness before the dawn

Late to court because I stayed home to watch the new Game of Thrones episode “The Long Night”. The heroes are shown all stressed and scared in the moments of darkness before the dawn. When I get to court my cases are called right away. My timing ended up being perfect. Go to the office in the afternoon. Go to Orange Theory. Sleep poorly at night. My body aches all over.

Bucks get stomped

Go to the jail in the morning for a consultation. Walk to Miller Park while listening to the Bucks get stomped by the Boston Celtics in game one of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. At sunset walk up St. Paul Avenue to 16th Street. Cross the viaduct. Walk south to Lincoln Avenue. Walk back downtown.

Bango photo bombed at the grocery store

Go to Pick N’Save for groceries. See a Bango cut out. Take a picture. A lady walking up the soda aisle photo bombs it. Go to the office. Pick up my dry cleaning. Go back home. Do a water change on the fish tank. Snow storm hits Milwaukee. Lose energy to do anything else. Lay on the couch.

The Avengers

Drive to Racine for preliminary hearing. Drive back to Milwaukee for status hearing. Walk south to Lorena’s house. Hang out there for awhile. Drive to Latia’s house. Take her to see The Avengers: End Game. Drop her back off at home and give her a nice kiss good night.
