Don't Worry, Be Happy
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Eat lunch. In the afternoon drive back to the courthouse. Go in for a sentencing hearing. The client’s mother doesn’t like how things turned out. Drive home. Walk west to 6th Street. Walk north on Sixth Street. Walk around the Fiserv Forum. Walk home. At night watch “Yellow Submarine” (1968).
In the morning drive out to Germantown. Get out and walk over six hours over several long country roads.
In the morning walk to the office. Pack up my files for Monday. Walk home. In the afternoon walk up Prospect Avenue. Keep walking north to UW-Milwaukee. Where are the students? Oh yeah, its Saturday. Walk back home.
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Walk over to the 6th floor. Sit on a bench and have a bumpy consultation with a problem client. Drive home. End up doing nothing the rest of the day.
In the morning drive to the jail. Try to go in for a consultation. Client is acting crazy. Walk over to the Safety Building. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Eat lunch. In the afternoon drive back to the courthouse. The client from this morning is still acting crazy. He is not brought over for court. Case adjourned. Drive home. Walk north on Prospect Avenue out to UW-Milwaukee. The neighborhood streets are calm over here. It is a nice pleasant afternoon. Walk home.
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a quick hearing. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work on several items. Walk up Prospect Avenue out to UW-Milwaukee. Walk back home as the sun lights up the cloudy sky.
In the morning drive to Main Street in Menomonee Falls. Walk north through Germantown. Walk all the way to Friestadt Road. Walk east to Swan Road. Walk south to the City of Milwaukee. Walk back to my car. Drive home. Walked through four counties: Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee and Milwaukee.
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a jury trial. Client doesn’t show up. No trial today. Walk over to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Drive home. Eat lunch. In the afternoon drive back to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Drive home.
In the morning drive out to Franklin. Walk south to Ryan Road. Walk east to Cape Road. Walk north back to my car. Drive to Lorena’s house. Xena is there!!! We run around the yard. We play tag. We play hide and seek. We talk. We run around some more. Drive home.
In the morning clean the kitchen. Walk to the office. Work briefly. Walk home. Clean the rest of the house. Walk back to the office. Work briefly. Walk home. Walk down to Lakeshore State Park. Walk back home.
