In the morning drive to the Monroe County Courthouse. The Judge has caught Covid. The jury trial is suspended until next week. The trial with no end in sight keeps going on and on and on. Drive to Tomah. Walk around the city. Drive back to the hotel. Walk around Sparta until it starts to rain. Drive back to the hotel.

In the morning drive to the Monroe County Courthouse. Go in for the continuation of the jury trial. At night walk aroound Sparta. The trial is becoming a long tunnel with no end in sight.

In the morning drive back to Sparta. Go to the Sparta cinema. Watch “The Batman” (2022). I enjoyed this movie. Drive to the hotel. Check in. Walk around Sparta. Walk back to the hotel. Go to sleep.

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Walk home. Clean the filter on the fish tank. It was full of gunk big time. In the afternoon it starts to snow. Sometimes it snows in April. Walk down to the lakefront. At night pack up and get ready to return to Sparta in the morning.

In the morning pack up the car for the return to Milwaukee. Go to the Monroe County Justice Center. Go in for jury trial. Over the lunch break step over to the Monroe County history museum. Walk around and look at the exhibits. Walk up to the second floor to see the Deke Slayton exhibits. After court drive back to Milwaukee. It was a nice sunny day today.

In the morning go to the Monroe County Courthouse. It is snowing in Sparta. Go in for more of the jury trial. At night watch “To Kill a Mockingbird” (1962).

In the morning go to the Monroe County Justice Center. Go in for the jury trial. It is a rainy day. I get extremely tired. After court pick up a pizza. Take it back to the hotel. Eat it. Watch “East of Eden” (1955).

In the morning go to the Monroe County Courthouse. Go in for the jury trial. Start testimony. After court walk around Sparta. See the walking bridges. See a couple of ducks in the river. Walk to the Great Wall Buffet for dinner. There are no Covid rules or restrictions of any kind out here!

In the morning drive to the Monroe County Justice Center. Stop to say hello the Deke Slayton statue. Go inside for the jury trial. Spend the day selecting a jury. After court walk around Sparta. At night watch “Mutiny on the Bounty” (1935).

In the morning pack up my car for the trip to Sparta. Stop at Pere Marquette Park and find two geese sitting in the grass. Put out a pile of corn for them and they begin to eat a nice breakfast. Stop at the jail. Go in for a consultation. Drive to Sparta. Go to the Monroe County Jail for a consultation. Drive to the hotel. Check in. Walk around Sparta until the sun sets. At night watch the Academy Awards show.
