The sun is shining on the south side

In the morning drive to the Safety Building. Go in for a couple of hearings. In the afternoon walk to the south side. Walk down to Oklahoma Avenue. Walk out to 43rd Street. Walk back down Wisconsin Avenue. The sun is shining on the south side this afternoon.

Taking a final exam

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Walk over to the Safety Building. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Walk up to Marquette University. See a class of students taking a final exam. Walk west to 21st Street. Walk north to Highland Boulevard. Walk back downtown. Go to Orangetheory. Walk back up to Marquette. Walk to Cathedral Square. Put out corn and sunflower seeds for the same goose that always runs to me.

Climbs up a tree

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a quick hearing. In the afternoon walk around downtown. Put out peanuts for the squirrels. One squirrel grabs a peanut then climbs up a tree to sit on a branch and eat. Go to Orangetheory.

Orange Everest

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. In the afternoon walk to the office. Do another court hearing over Zoom. Walk home. Take a power nap. Go to Orangetheory. It is the day for the Orange Everest challenge. Climb the inclines on the treadmill. I kill it. Shatter my old time from last year. At night watch “Coming to America” (1988).

A deer and a pink unicorn

In the morning set up the new larger filter on the fish tank. In the afternoon walk around Grant Park. See a deer standing next to the woods. It looks at me. Walk around South Milwaukee. In the late afternoon walk to the lakefront. On the way back walk around the MSOE campus. See a pink unicorn in the park. Walk home.

Six hours

In the morning try to do a filter change on the fish tank. The filter acts up. It is leaky and the flow is weak. Drive to get a new filter. The fish need a bigger filter due to the number of offspring that keep popping up in the tank. Walk south around the Mitchell Field airport. Walk east to the lake. Walk to South Milwaukee. Six hours of walking.

Phone consultations

In the morning have a phone consultation with an incarcerated client. Drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Drive back home. Do two more phone consultations with incarcerated inmates. Walk down to the lakefront. Walk up the Oak Leaf trail to North Avenue.
