In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Do a couple of consultations over Zoom. Walk home. Drive to Hawley Road. Walk south to Lincoln Avenue. Listen to a BBC radio drama covering the English Civil Wars of the Seventeenth Century. Walk west to 95th Street. Walk to the Hank Aaron trail. Walk east back to my car. Drive home.

Get many things done

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Get many things done. Walk home. In the afternoon drive to Hawley Road. Walk south to Lincoln Avenue. Walk west to 95th Street. Walk east on the Hank Aaron trail. Walk back to my car. Drive home. Hail and thunder and lightning begin to fall.

Hidden piece of plastic food

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a brief period of time. Walk home. Drive to Lorena’s house. Run around in the backyard with Xena. We hide the pieces of plastic food around the yard and look for them. I tell Xena she is getting warmer or colder depending on how close she is to the hidden piece of plastic food. We have so much fun. Drive home. Drive west to Nashotah. Walk around some trails in a park off of Highway C. Drive to Petco on Highway 83. Buy aquarium sand and flakes. Drive to Heather’s house. Eat dinner and cake and celebrate Emmet’s birthday. Drive home. Watch “Real Genius” (1985).

Walk around Caledonia

In the morning drive to Franksville. Walk east on Northwestern Avenue. Walk north to Five Mile Road. Walk around Caledonia. Walk south. Walk west back to my car. Seven hours and over 40,000 steps. Drive to Lorena’s house. Run around the backyard with Xena. Today we pretend to work on a construction site and get paid $1000 each. Then we get out the toy dinosaurs and they fight it out. Drive home.

Become tired and worn out

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a consultation. Drive to my office. Drop off a box of copy paper. Drive back to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Eat lunch. Drive back to the courthouse. Go in for another hearing. Become tired and worn out. Drive home. Take a nap. Move to the couch and lay there for a while. Go to bed early.

Goose with a missing foot

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Walk home. Clean the filter out on the fish tank. In the afternoon drive to the courthouse. Go in for another preliminary hearing. Drive home. Walk down to the lakefront. Find a goose with a missing foot. Throw bread out to the goose. It hobbles around and eats up the bread. Walk north to Northpoint. Walk over to Farwell Avenue. Walk south to Brady Street. Walk back home.

Like it is the middle of summer

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Walk home. Drive to Hawley Road. Walk south to Lincoln Avenue. Walk west to 84th Street. It goes over 70 degrees today. People are out here acting like it is the middle of summer. Continue walking north to State Street. Walk back to the car. Drive home.

Over 60 degrees again out here today

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a couple of hearings. Drive to Sam’s Club to get Diet Coke and Ice Mountain water. Drive to Farm and Fleet for bird seed. Drive home. Drive to the Watertown Plank Road Park and Ride. Walk east to 60th Street. Walk south to the Hank Aaron trail. Walk west to 92nd Street. Walk back to my car. Drive home. It was over 60 degrees again out here today.

North on the Seven Waters trail

In the morning drive to Big Bend Elementary School. Get out and walk south on Highway 164. Walk to south to Waterford. Turn around and walk north on the Seven Waters trail. End up walking over 8 hours and over 50,000 steps. My right calf hurts when I press on the gas pedal on the drive home.
