Like it is the middle of summer

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Walk home. Drive to Hawley Road. Walk south to Lincoln Avenue. Walk west to 84th Street. It goes over 70 degrees today. People are out here acting like it is the middle of summer. Continue walking north to State Street. Walk back to the car. Drive home.

Over 60 degrees again out here today

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a couple of hearings. Drive to Sam’s Club to get Diet Coke and Ice Mountain water. Drive to Farm and Fleet for bird seed. Drive home. Drive to the Watertown Plank Road Park and Ride. Walk east to 60th Street. Walk south to the Hank Aaron trail. Walk west to 92nd Street. Walk back to my car. Drive home. It was over 60 degrees again out here today.

North on the Seven Waters trail

In the morning drive to Big Bend Elementary School. Get out and walk south on Highway 164. Walk to south to Waterford. Turn around and walk north on the Seven Waters trail. End up walking over 8 hours and over 50,000 steps. My right calf hurts when I press on the gas pedal on the drive home.

Underwater sand storm

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work on several files. Walk home. Take the old sand out of the fish tank. Make a horrible mess for the fish. They are bewildered in an underwater sand storm. Let the sand settle overnight. Tomorrow new sand will be added back in.

Burst of good energy

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Walk to the office. Do a consultation with a client over Zoom. Walk home. Walk south to National Avenue. Walk west to 6th Street. Walk north back downtown. Walk to the Fiserv Forum. Get a burst of good energy as I go by there. Walk back home. At night watch the 1970 Academy Awards ceremony. Midnight Cowboy wins best picture.

60 degrees in February

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Walk home. Do a telephone consultation with a client away in prison. Walk south on 6th Street to National Avenue. Walk east. Walk north to the Third Street Market Hall. It hits 60 degrees outside. Get a pan of brisket. Walk home. Eat dinner.

Train stuck on a bridge

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Walk home. Eat lunch. Drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Walk over to the courthouse. Go in for a preliminary hearing. Drive home. Walk south to National Avenue. Walk under a train stuck on a bridge. Walk back home.

Vieau School

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for consultations. Walk over to the Safety Building. Go in for a sentencing. Drive home. Eat lunch. Drive back to the courthouse. Go in for a bail hearing. Drive home. Walk south to National Avenue. Walk around Vieau School. Walk back home.

Big Bend Elementary School

In the morning drive to Waukesha West High School. Walk east to Highway 164. Walk south to Big Bend Elementary School. Walk west to Oakdale Drive. Walk north back to my car. Walk over eight hours without taking a break. Drive home.
