Walk around a street festival along Greenfield Avenue. Get a brat from the Boy Scouts. Walk back to my bike. Ride home.

Run down the street to see the acupuncturist. The needles go in and the pain explodes inside my right calf and hamstring. Walk home. It is still raining heavily. In the morning ride my bike to 76th Street. Get out and walk south around West Allis. Stop at Veterans Memorial Park to watch the Memorial Day remembrance. See “Miss West Allis” in a red dress and a tiara on her head. See a rifle salute. See “Taps” being played. Walk back to my bike. Ride home. Walk to the office. Work briefly. Walk back home.
