In the morning drive to Capitol Drive. Park at the Pick N’ Save off of Calhoun Road. Walk west to Barker Road. Walk south to Greenfield Road. Walk west to Pilgrim Road. Walk north back to my car. Hiking over 7 hours. Listen to American Top 40 counting down the record charts for this week in 1982.

Our shadows are playing with us too

In the morning walk to the office. Work on a bunch of things. Work some more in the afternoon. Drive to Lorena’s house. Play with Xena on the sidewalk. See our shadows playing with us too. We have so much fun. At night walk down to the lakefront and see the city lighting up the lake. Walk home.

Last summer weather

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Walk over to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Walk back to the courthouse. Go in for another hearing. In the afternoon drive to 27th and Rawson Avenue. Walk south to Drexel Avenue. Walk west to 68th Street. Walk north on the Oak Leaf trail. It is over 70 degrees. Last summer weather for a long time. Walk back to my car.

Detective

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Walk over to the jail. Go in for consultations. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work on several files. Drive to Lorena’s house. Play with Xena on the sidewalk. Today she decides I am a detective because I am wearing my tan trench coat. We investigate robberies, murders, all kinds of stuff.

Cast their votes in South Milwaukee

In the morning walk to the office. Crank out a bunch of work. In the afternoon drive to South Milwaukee. Walk west on Drexel Avenue to 27th Street. Walk north to Rawson Avenue. Walk east back to South Milwaukee. See kids running out of school. See voters walking in and out of the South Milwaukee Library to cast their votes on election day.

Waukesha is quiet this Sunday afternoon

In the morning drive out to Calhoun Road. Walk west on the New Berlin trail until I reach a section that is flooded out. Walk south around the trail. Walk west to downtown Waukesha. It is quiet out here on this Sunday afternoon. Listen to the Packers lose their 5th straight game to the lowly Detroit Lions. Walk east back to my car as the sun sets.

Shelter from the storm

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a little while. In the afternoon drive out to 68th and Rawson. Walk west to 108th Street. It rains off and on. Sometimes quite hard. Run under trees for shelter from the storm. Listen to the second day of the State Public Defender conference. Walk north to Grange Avenue. Walk east back to 68th Street. Walk back to my car. Drive home.
