In the morning walk outside. It is brutal. High winds and below zero all day. Stay inside the rest of the day. Clean the whole house. Wrap up Christmas presents. Watch television.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. In the afternoon walk north on Prospect Avenue. Continue north on Downer Avenue. Walk to UW-Milwaukee. It starts snowing in Riverwest as I walk home. Get home after sunset.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Walk to Old World Third Street. Stop at Usinger’s. Buy gift packs of cheese and sausage. At night drive out to Highway 100 for more Christmas shopping.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Sit around preliminary hearing court waiting for my case to be called. Wait in vain. Not enough deputies in the jail to move the defendants to the hearing room. Case is adjourned. In the afternoon walk to the office. Work all afternoon. At night go to Orangetheory.

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for consultations. Drive home. Eat Lunch. Drive back to the jail. The elevator breaks down after I get off it. Fortunate timing. Go in for more consultations. Drive home. Get tired. Fall asleep on the couch.

Drive up to Pioneer Road. Walk north on Lakeshore Drive. Walk around Grafton. It is very quiet up here. Walk to Ulao Road. Walk west to Cedarburg. Walk back to my car as the sun sets. Drive home. At night watch “The Shining” (1980).

Drive to Hawley Road. Walk north to Center Street. Walk west to 84th Street. Walk south back to my car. There is a slight dusting of snow here in Wauwatosa.

In the morning walk to the office. Work on a long list of tasks. Get them all done. Walk to the U.S. Bank Tower. Stop at the Downtown Kitchen for lunch. In the afternoon drive to the Bodega Laundromat. Run around the laundromat with Xena. We have so much fun while the other customers are trying to do their laundry. At night walk up Prospect Avenue to North Avenue. Walk back down Farwell Avenue to Brady Street. Walk back home.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for one hearing. The judge assigns two more clients for me while I am there. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk down to the lakefront. See the geese walking around picking at the grass. It is going to start to get alot colder here in Milwaukee. Will they regret not flying south? Walk to UW-MIlwaukee. Walk home. At night drive to Sam’s Club to get several cases of Diet Coke.

In the morning drive to the Waukesha County Courthouse. Go back for more jury trial. In the late afternoon get a verdict. Drive home. Traffic wasn’t as sucky today. Fall asleep on the couch.
