In the morning drive to the courthouse for several hearings. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work the rest of the afternoon. Walk home as rush hour is underway.

In the morning get up early. Drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Walk over to the courthouse for a hearing. Walk back to the jail. Go in for another consultation. Drive home. Eat lunch. Drive back to the courthouse. Go in for another hearing. Walk back to the jail for more consultations. Drive home. Walk back to the office. Work for the rest of the afternoon. Walk home. Rainy and dreary and busy all day.

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Drive home. Drive to Seven Mile Road. Walk south to Four Mile Road. Walk around Cliffside Park. See several people camping out. It is rainy and cold. Poor camoing weather. Walk back to my car. Drive to South Milwaukee. Get a pizza. Drive home.

In the morning wake up tired and worn out in body and spirit. Struggle to sweep the old seed and other debris from the spot under the freeway where I feed the birds. My arms and legs feel torn up. Walk to the office. Put out seed on the sidewalk across my window at work. Watch the birds eat happily. Work the rest of the afternoon. See a bird outside the window sitting on the fire escape. Walk home. At night watch “The Birds” (1963). Those birds were all big and bad ass. The birds I take care of are small and timid.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Drive home. Eat lunch. Drive back to the courthouse for another hearing. Drive to Aquatics Unlimited. Buy new plants for the fish tank. Drive home. Tear out the old plants. Put the new ones in. Clean up the tank. Clean the filter too.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Drive home. In the afternoon walk to the office. Work for a while. Drive to 27th and Ryan Road. Walk south to Oakwood Road. Walk west to 60th Street. Walk north to Ryan Road. Walk back to my car. Drive home.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in to the jail for a consultation. Walk over to the courthouse for a hearing. Go back in to the jail for another consultation. Drive home. Walk up to the office. Work in the afternoon. Later drive to 13th and Ryan Road. Walk south to Oakwood Road. Walk west to 27th Street. Walk back to Ryan Road. Walk to my car. Drive home.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Sit in the hallway chatting with the clients before court is called. Walk over to the jail. Go in for consultations. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a couple of hours. Drive to 13th and Ryan Road. Walk south to Seven Mile Road. Walk east to Howell Avenue. Cut across the Root River Parkway path again. Walk back to my car. Drive home.

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Walk home. Eat lunch. Walk back to the office. Keep on working. Walk home. Drive to Ryan Road. Walk south down Nicholson Avenue. See a couple of tree stumpers taking down a very large tree. Walk across the Root River Parkway. Walk north up Howell Avenue. Walk back to my car. Drive to Pick N’Save. Go grocery shopping. Drive home.

In the morning drive to 76th and Brown Deer Road. Walk north to Grafton. Walk south past Cedarburg. Walk south on the Ozaukee County trail. Walk around 9 1/2 hours. Absolutley destroy myself. Make it back to my car in considerable pain. Drive home. My leg hurts when I press on the gas pedal. It’s that bad.
