In the morning walk to the office. Work for a bit. Walk to Scott Free salon. Get a haircut. Walk home. Drive to Pick N’ Save in Bay View. Buy a ton of groceries so I don’t have to do this again for a while. Drive home. Lay on the couch.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Arctic cold has swept over the city. It is well below zero degrees. Days like this are when the seed I put out for the birds that is critical to their survival. Drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Take a nap. Keep the heat up more than I normally do. There is frost all over the window frames.

In the morning do a telephone consultation with a client up north in prison. Drive to the courthouse. Walk over to the jail for a consultation. In the afternoon go in for two lengthy hearings. In one hearing I testify as a witness. I knock it out of the park. Drive home.
