Tricks in the skies above

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Drive home. Take a nap. Walk to the office. Try to work for a while. Walk home as the United States Navy Blue Angels aircraft do tricks in the skies above downtown Milwaukee.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a quick hearing. Drive home. Get out and walk south down Water Street. Check out the new skyscraper going up. Walk out to Lakeshore State Park. Walk home. In the afternoon drive back to the courthouse. Go in for 6 hearings with 6 different clients in 6 different courts. Drive home.

Onward through Lake Park

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Later walk up Prospect Avenue and onward through Lake Park. Walk down to the lakefront. Walk home.

Lower energy levels

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for consultations. Walk over to the courthouse. Told to come back in the afternoon for my cases. Drive home. Eat lunch. Drive back to the courthouse. Go in for the hearings. Drive home. Walk down to the lakefront out to Northpoint. Follow the riverwalk back downtown. It is a nice summer evening. Since I have been working more and more cases lately, my energy levels for doing these hikes are lower.

Over Zoom

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for consultations. Walk over to the Safety Building. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Eat lunch. Walk to the office. Do a consultation with a client out at the House of Correction over Zoom. Work some more. Walk home.

Overwhelming energy drain

In the morning ride my bike out to 70th Street. Walk around West Allis. Get whacked by an overwhelming energy drain. Ride home. Take a nap. Try to walk around downtown. Give up after a few minutes. Walk home. Go to bed early.

Geese and Harley Davidson

In the morning walk to the office. Work on getting cases ready for next week. Walk home. Walk north along the riverwalk out to North Avenue. Walk down to the lakefront. Throw out bread to the geese. Walk down to the Harley Davidson Festival. See the long lines of people going in for Harley. Walk home.

Beignets with powdered sugar

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Walk over to the Safety Building. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk along the riverwalk. Walk east to Bastille Days. Sit down and eat two beignets with powdered sugar all over them. Walk home.

Blocked off

In the morning walk to the office. Work all morning. Walk to the U.S. Bank Tower for lunch. Walk back to the office. Do a preliminary hearing over Zoom. Walk home. Ride my bike west on the Hank Aaron trail to 70th Street. The trial is blocked off so I can go no further at that point. Lock up my bike and walk north around Wauwatosa. Walk south around West Allis. Walk back to my bike.

Entertainment

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for consultations. One client screams at me. Walk out on him. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work on a few things. Walk home. Drive back to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. One court is finishing up a jury trial. I go outside to wait in the hallway while my hearing is delayed. There are four little girls running up and down the hallway making noise and causing trouble. This entertainment totally changes my mood for the better. Go in and do the hearing after the jury trial goes on a break. Drive home.
