In the morning walk to the office. Work on several items. Walk home. Eat lunch. In the afternoon walk back to the office. Work on several more items. Later walk down to the lakefront. Walk up to Northpoint. Walk back down along the river. Cut across the river on a walking bridge. Come out on the other side as a bunch of joggers go past me. Walk home.

Around the stadium three times

In the morning ride my bike out to American Family Field. Walk around the stadium three times. Ride my bike out to Watertown Plank Road. Walk up and down the street three times. Ride my bike to State Fair Park. Walk south on 76th Street and back. Ride home.

Like a dinosaur

In the morning sweep the area under the parking lot where the birds eat. Drive to Sam’s CLub. Buy Diet Coke and Ice Mountain water. Drive home. In the afternoon walk to the fish store to buy frozen blood worms. My knees are sore. I lumber up and down the streets like a dinosaur. Walk home.

Eye doctor

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Later drive to Mayfair Road to see the eye doctor. It was a nice time. Drive home. Walk along the lakefront out to Capitol Drive. Stop at Culver’s for a cheeseburger. Walk home along the Oak Leaf trail.

Last day on the bench

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a plea and sentencing hearing. It is the judge’s last day on the bench. Client doesn’t like the sentence. Drive home. In the afternoon walk to the lakefront. Walk along the lakefront to Northpoint. Walk back down Farwell Avenue. Walk home. At night watch “Tron” (1982).

Bike to work

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Walk over to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Drive home. In the afternoon walk to the office. Do two preliminary hearings over Zoom. Walk home. Ride my bike up to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Ride my bike back to the office. Upload some plea forms for tomorrow’s hearing. Ride home.

Like lightning

In the morning walk to the office. Work until the late afternoon. Walk home. Ride my bike to the fish store. Buy three little Chinese Algae Eaters. Take them home. Drop them in the tank. They swim like lightning for the rocks and squeeze under them. Ride my bike to McKinley Marina. Get off the bike and walk north to Capitol Drive. Walk back to my bike. Ride it home.

The Thing

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Get into it with a client’s family member out in the hallway. Drive home. In the afternoon drive back to the courthouse. Go in for another hearing. Get into it with another client’s family member. What the fuck? Drive home. At night watch “The Thing” (1982).

On and off the Bugline Trail

In the morning drive to the Village of Lannon. Walk west on the Bugline Trail out to Highway V. Walk north to County Line Road. Walk east into Menomonee Falls. Walk south on Appleton Avenue to the Bugline Trail. Walk back to my car.

Back and forth work

In the morning clean the kitchen. Walk to the office. Work on a couple of files. Walk home. Clean the living room. Walk to the office. Work on billing. Walk back home. Clean the bathroom. Walk back to the office. Prepare list for next week. Walk home. Clean the bedroom. Vacuum all over. High back and forth work effort today.
