In the morning drive to a Lake Michigan access point in Sheboygan County. Walk south along Lake Michigan. It is beautiful this morning. Walk west. Try to walk north on their trail up here. It is not cleared of snow. I struggle mightily. My lower back rebels. Get off the trail. Walk back to my car. Drive home. Watch the Packers beat the Bears with a game winning interception in the end zone with seconds left on the clock.

In the morning drive to Oklahoma Avenue. Walk south along the lakefront to Cudahy. The trails are mostly cleared of snow. Walk back to my car. Drive home.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Eat lunch. In the afternoon drive back to the courthouse for a sentencing hearing. Drive home. Walk to the Swinging Door to get a fish fry. Walk home.

Take in two suits to the tailor working out of a back room there. She has a thick east European accent. Walk back to the office. Finish up more work. Walk home.

In the morning drive to the jail. Try to go in for consultations. I am turned away because the elevator is down. Drive to Sam’s Club. Go in and buy Diet Coke and Ice Mountain water in bulk. Drive to Farm and Fleet. Buy bird seed in bulk. Drive home. In the afternoon walk to the office. Work on several things. Walk to pick up the other new suits I bought in October. Walk home.

In the morning drive to 84th and Bluemound Road. It has been snowing all night. Walk north to Highway 100. Walk north. Dodge cars and snow plows while walking in the street because the snow on the sidewalks has piled up. Walk to North Avenue. See a turkey walking on the cleared sidewalk around 87th Street. Walk to Hawley Road. Walk back to my car. Drive home.
