Selling off everything

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Ride my bike to 60th Street. Get out and walk around West Allis. Stop at the Drunk Uncle bar. The owner is selling off everything after the city shut it down. Walk around some more. Stop for a club sandwich off 68th Street. Walk back to my bike. Ride home.

River and the setting sun

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk north on Prospect Avenue. Stop at Ian’s for a slice of pizza. Walk west up North Avenue. Follow along the river and the setting sun back downtown.

White smoke and champagne

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. See that there is white smoke coming out of the chimney at the Vatican. Take a break to watch the new pope greet the crowds gathered in St. Peter’s Square. Walk home. Walk south to Walker’s Point. Throw out bread to the mother goose sitting on a flower pot on the Canal Street bridge. Her significant other gets mad and charges me. I put down seed for him and he forgets he is angry and points his beak at the sidewalk and eats. Walk to the Marquette campus. See the students taking graduation photos. See a line of girls along Wisconsin Avenue taking pictures of themselves uncorking champagne bottles. Walk back home.

Deny the visit

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a consultation. Drive home. Eat lunch. In the afternoon drive back to the courthouse for a hearing. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work on several files. Walk to Ian’s Pizza. Eat a slice. Walk to the jail. Go in for consultation. They deny the visit claiming they don’t have the staff available to do their fucking job! Walk home.

Towing a boat

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for consultations. Drive to Stein’s Gardens on 27th Street. Buy flowers and plants. Drive to the House of Correction. Go in for a consultation. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk along the lakefront. Stop to watch them towing a stranded boat out of Lake Michigan. The media is there to cover this major event here in Milwaukee. Stop for a hot fudge sundae as long as I am there. Walk home.

Very pleasant

In the morning walk to the office. Work on a variety of matters. Walk to the U.S. Bank Tower for lunch. Eat a burger. Walk back to the office. Work some more. Walk home. Walk south to Walker’s Point. Walk to the mother goose on the Canal Street bridge. Throw out pieces of bread to her. It is sunny, warm and no wind. Very pleasant. Walk home.

Farm after farm

In the morning drive to Union Grove. Walk south in the Town of Paris. Walk down roads bordered by farm after farm. Make my way back to my car. Drive home.

Early spring day

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Ride my bike to 60th Street. Walk around West Allis. Sunny and nice early spring day. Stop for tacos on 84th and Lincoln. Walk north to the Hank Aaron trial. Walk east back to my bike. Ride home.

Another mother goose

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk south to National Avenue. Walk west to 16th Street. Walk to Los Comales. Eat tacos. Walk home. The mother goose is gone. Her eggs hatched? Walk across the street. See another mother goose nesting. Throw bread at her. Walk home.

Yawning

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Walk over to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Drive home. Eat lunch. Drive back to the courthouse. Go in for another hearing. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Can’t stop yawning. I am mentally exhausted. Go to bed early.
