In the morning drive to 84th and Bluemound Road. Walk north. Walk into Wauwatosa. Walk east. Walk south on 68th Street below Lincoln Avenue. Walk west. Walk north. Walk back to my car. Drive home. Listen to a podcast about the 1979 Iranian Revolution.

Unusual calculations

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for consultations. Walk over to the Safety Building. Go in for a re-sentencing hearing. Use the unusual calculations of the Felony Murder law to get the client a little bit of time off his previous sentence. Drive home. Eat lunch. Drive back to the courthouse. Go in for several more hearings. Drive home in the late afternoon.

West Allis does not

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Make a compelling argument to the court for the client. Judge agrees to send her home from jail. Do a consultation in the jail as well. Drive home. Drive to American Family Field. Walk west then south then west some more. Walk north to the still unplowed Hank Aaron trail. After 60th Street it is plowed though. The City of Milwaukee plows but the City of West Allis does not. Walk back to my car. Drive home.

Trudge

In the morning drive to 84th and Bluemound Road. Walk west to 116th Street. Turn south. Walk back along the Hank Aaron trail. The trail is not plowed. Trudge through the snow. Walk south a ways on 84th Street until it hurts too much. Turn around and walk back to my car. Drive home.

Several hours of Genesis

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk north to Hampton Avenue. Turn around and walk back south on the Oak Leaf trail all the way back downtown. Listen to several hours of Genesis songs from Supper’s Ready to Invisible Touch.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings in four different courts. Drive home. Walk up Prospect Avenue. Keep walking north all the way to Capitol Drive. Stop at the UW-Milwaukee student union along the way. Turn around and walk back home.
