In the morning drive to the Town of Cedar Grove. Walk north to Oostburg. Stop at a Pizza Ranch for the buffet. Walk south back to my car. Listen to the Packers hang on to beat the New York Giants. Drive home.

In the morning the closet system installer shows up. He installs everything while I watch episodes of “Kojak”. It turns out fine. In the afternoon walk through Cathedral Square on my way to the grocery store. The Christmas decorations are going up all over.

In the morning wait for the closet system installer to show up. No show. I am pissed off. Ride my bike north up the Oak Leaf trail. Walk around UW-Milwaukee. Walk north on the Oak Leaf. Walk back my bike. Ride home.


In the morning drive to the Town of Belgium. Walk north on farm roads. See cows eating at a trough. See gulls following behind a farmer’s tractor looking for food churned up by his plow. See chickens sitting under a porch. Walk to Cottage Grove. See kids running out of the grade school for recess. Walk south back to my car. Drive home.




In the morning go to pick up one of my new suits. Looks good. Walk home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk down to the lakefront. Put out peanuts and corn for the squirrels to find. Walk home.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Drive home. Walk to the office. Walk to the U.S. Bank Tower for lunch. Sit down at a table and look out the window and sit with the pain in my body from too much hiking and too little sleep. Walk back home.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Drive to the Thunder Bay restaurant. Get picked up by my sister to go to the Packer game with her and my niece. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Lambeau Field but the Packers lose to the Eagles.





In the morning drive to the town of Belgium. Walk north. Walk east to the Lake Michigan shore. Walk south. Walk back west against a stiff wind. Make it back to my car after seven hours. It was a really great hike. Drive home.




In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk down to the lakefront. Walk north to Bradford Beach. Walk up to North Avenue. Walk south through Black Cat alley. See the artwork on the walls. Walk back home.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Eat lunch. In the afternoon drive back to the courthouse. Go in for more hearings. Stay at the court until late in the afternoon. Drive home. Listen to Harvard crush the Columbia Lions as I fall asleep.
