Troniyah’s birthday party

Drive to Racine. Go to the jail for consultations. Drive to Sam’s Club to get soda and water. Drive around trying in vain to find a place available to do an oil change on my car. Go to Huhot for lunch. Go to the Kenosha County Detention Center for a consultation. Drive home. Walk along the lakefront to Northpoint. Walk up North Avenue. A crazy female takes off her clothes right in front of me then runs into the street. Nice body. Go to Orange Theory. Go to Latia’s mother’s house. There are alot of kids there to celebrate Latia’s daughter’s birthday. I give Troniyah a twenty dollar bill for her birthday. She gives me a big hug. I eat barbeque hot dogs, cake, and cotton candy. I hang out with all the kids. I have a nice time.

Exhausted

Go to court in the morning for a couple of hearings. Go home and clean out the filter on the fish tank while watching old episodes of “Kung Fu”. The fish tank is now nice and refreshed. Go back to the courthouse for a status hearing and a sentencing hearing. Go home tired. Take a short nap. Walk to the office. Prepare all the files for tomorrow and next week. Walk home exhausted. Go to bed early.

Late arriving fans

Walk to court in the morning. Resume jury trial. Make my closing argument. Wait around to the afternoon for a verdict. Walk home. Walk up to the office to work on files for tomorrow. Walk to Miller Park. Watch the late arriving fans gathering around the entrances to the stadium and then filing in.

Shuffling in to the stadium

Go to the Safety Building in the morning to resume jury trial. For lunch walk down to Water Street to get a slice of pizza. Walk back to the Safety Building for more jury trial. At sunset walk to Miller Park. See all the Brewer fans shuffling in to the stadium for the game. Get a good feeling walking around and taking in the atmosphere. Walk out to Wisconsin Avenue. Walk east back downtown. As I am walking past Marquette University, I catch up to the college students walking up and down the sidewalk. Get that burst of good feeling back. Walk to the office to get my files ready for tomorrow. Go home and cook up some Ramen noodles then off to bed.

Skyy is in the driver’s seat

Go the office in the morning to pack up files for court. Go to the Safety Building for jury trial. Over the lunch break go to Latia’s house to hang out. Latia puts together a baby walker for Skyy while I hold the baby. The baby walker is in the shape of a car. I put Skyy in the driver’s seat. I push her around the room while she “drives” her car. Skyy is very happy in her car. Go back to the Safety Building to resume the jury trial the rest of the afternoon. At sunset walk to Miller Park. The sun is setting in the west while behind me a very dense fog rolls in from the east. It creates a very cool visual effect. Get back home after dark. Finish the walk with sore feet.

Selena Fest

Drive to Oklahoma Avenue. Get out and walk south along the lake to College Avenue. Walk west to 6th Street. Walk north on 6th Street. Listen to the Packers beat the Vikings. Stop at Selena Fest. See many, many, many pretty latinas. Wow! While there hear Ryan Braun smack a grand slam home run in the top of the 9th inning. Brewers beat the St. Louis Cardinals. Walk north to Oklahoma Avenue. Walk east on Oklahoma back to the lake as the rain starts falling.

Every corner of the world

In the morning drive to the Audubon Shopping Center in Fox Point. Go to cryotherapy appointment. Later walk to the office. Prepare for Monday’s trial. Walk to the jail to meet with client for a consultation. In the late afternoon walk along the lakefront to Whitefish Bay. Get home after dark. During my walk along the lakefront I am impressed by the wide diversity of people outside enjoying the sunny skies which have finally returned to us. The variety of humanity which I saw this afternoon have ancestry that reaches to every corner of the world. Brewers won again by the way.

Rosie

177.5 pounds. A new low. Drive to Racine. Go to the jail and show videos in evidence to a client. Go to the courthouse for a sentencing hearing. Drive home. Walk along the lakefront to Northpoint. Get an ice cream cone at the custard stand. Walk back along the river downtown. Walk past the MSOE campus to see the long line of students waiting to get in to the brand new computer science building to get a look at new large supercomputer they are calling “Rosie”. Go to Orange Theory. Tonight I am in the best mood that I have been in for a few weeks. Its nice.

Bango puts me in a better mood

Wake up to another gray and rainy morning. Depressing. Go to the Safety Building for a hearing. Kick ass in court while getting my client’s freedom. Drive to Racine. Go to the jail for a consultation. Stop at the Arby’s drive thru on the way home to get a sandwich. Take an afternoon nap. Walk along the lakefront to Northpoint. Walk up North Avenue. Walk along the river back downtown. Stop at the Fiserv Forum. Stop to see the Milwaukee Bucks season preview event. Seeing Bango puts me in a better mood.

Walking in the rain

Wake up and still feel tired. This is frustrating. Go to court for a status hearing. Go back home. Go back to bed. In the afternoon walk to the office. Walk to the Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility for a consultation. Walk back to the office. Go to Orange Theory. At night walk along the lakefront to Northpoint. Walking in the rain. Get wet. Walk down Farwell Avenue to Burns Commons. Take the hop back to the Third Ward. Feel better about things. Lay on the couch and don’t feel as tired as I was this morning.
