Clobber the defending champs

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Ride my bike to 76th Street. Walk west to Highway 100. Walk north to North Avenue. Turn east and then south back to my bike. Ride home on the Hank Aaron trail as Brewer fans walk to the stadium to watch our Brewers clobber the defending champs, the L.A. Dodgers.

Attacked by bugs

In the morning drive to Johnson Creek. Walk north. Walk west. Walk south. Try to walk on the Glacial Drumlin trail back east. Get relentlessly attacked by bugs. They bite and bother me. Get off the trail and return to the road. Walk back to my car. Drive home.

Proud march of geese

Walk down to the lakefront. See the Summerfest crowds and traffic surging into downtown. Walk to Lakeshore State Park. Stop and sit on the rocks. See a proud march of geese going right by me. Walk north on the lakefront some more. Walk home.

Pool party

In the morning walk to the office. Work briefly. Walk home. Walk north along the river walk. See a big pool party raging across the the river. Walk to North Avenue. Walk east to the lakefront. Walk back home.

No fireworks tonight

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Watch “Patton” (1970). Walk to the lakefront. No fireworks tonight. Instead they are putting on a little drine show. The crowds are a fraction of what normally use to occur. Walk home.

Summer day on Cesar Chavez

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work briefly. Walk home. Walk south to National Avenue. Walk west to Cesar Chavez Drive. Walk to Los Comales for tacos. Walk home.

Taking care of business

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Eat lunch. In the afternoon walk to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Walk back to the office for some more work. Walk to the post office to send out a package to a client in prison. Taking care of business today.

Clouds cover the sky

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Lay on the couch. Still trying to recover from yesterday’s hike. In the afternoon drive back to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Walk out to Lakeshore State Park. Clouds begin to cover the sky. Walk home.

Johnson Creek

In the morning drive to Johnson Creek. Walk north. Walk west. It is very hot. Halfway through begin to doubt whether this was a good idea. Make it back to my car. My shirt gets totally wet from sweating. Drive home.

North to Hampton Avenue

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Ride my bike out to Mount Mary University. Walk north to Hampton Avenue. Walk south. Walk back to my bike. Ride home.
