1994

Walk to the lakefront and up to the Brady Street Bridge and back.  Do a water change on the tank and clean both filters while listening to Louis CK stand-up. Walk along the lakefont to Northpoint and back down Farwell Avenue then west on Brady Street while listening to the Brewers beat the St. Louis Cardinals 2-1.  Walk to Best Fish and get servings of brine shrimp for the fish.  Walk to the lakefront again at sunset and out to Lakeshore State Park while listening to the first half broadcast of a Packers-Lions game played at County Stadium in 1994.  I was at that game.

Fiserv Forum

Walk up St. Paul Avenue to 13th Street.  Cross the Marquette Campus to the Pabst development.  Walk around the new Fiserv Forum.   Walk into the ticket lobby.  It smells like a new car.  Go to the Fish Factory to get worms.  Walk to the lakefront up to Brady Street while listening to episodes of the podcast “The Truth.”

 

Welcome to Irish Fest

Wake up tired.  Go to the Lorena’s house and see Kristine talking with two gangbangers.  Go home and sleep.  Go to Orange Theory and sign up for the grand opening next month.  Walk down to Irish Fest.  Go back to Lorena’s house later that night and see Kristine again.  She says almost nothing to me.  Lorena tries to talk me into buying some clothes from a dude that walked up to us.  I say no.  Go back home.

 

Cleaning all day

Work all day around the house cleaning.  Watch episodes of “Behind the Music” back to back to back.  Clean the kitchen, dust the furniture, scrub the floors, get out the vacuum cleaner.  The house has never been cleaner!!

Middle of the week

30 minutes on the Elliptical while watching documentary on the history of the city of Chicago.  Go to the office.  Work around the house.  Watch Youtube videos at night.

Primary Election Day

30 minutes on the Elliptical while watching documentary on the history of the city of Chicago.  Stop at the Municipal building on the way to work and vote.  Go to the office in the morning.  Walk to the southside McDonald’s for lunch.  Go back to the office in the afternoon.  Walk up Prospect Avenue to North Avenue then west and fllow the riverwalk back down town.  Walk past a concert in Kadish Park.

Check out Orange Theory

30 minutes on Elliptical while watching documentary on the history of Chicago.  Go to the office in the morning.  Go for a walk in the Third Ward to get a Red Bull.  Drink it down on while sitting on a bench on the riverwalk.  Go to Orange Theory to talk about joining up.  Go back to the office to work more in the afternoon.  Walk up Prospect Avenue to North Avenue.  Stop to get a haircut from Hannah.  Walk back home.  Watch Youtube videos on the history of the Rolling Stones.

 

French Revolution, Part II

15 minutes on the Elliptical.  Walk up St. Paul Avenue to 27th Street and back down Wisconsin Avenue and Wells Street.  Do a water change on the fish tank.  Walk down to Veterans Park.  Go to Jing’s and bring home delicious Chinese food.  Watch part two of a movie about the French Revolution.

Wind of Change

30 minutes on the Elliptical.  Have a telephone consultation with a client in prison in Green Bay.  Go to the courthouse for a status hearing.  Go to the jail for a consultation with a new client.  Walk down to the FIserv Forum over lunch.  Go to court for a preliminary hearing.  Walk to McDonalds on the south side.  Go to Southridge Mall with Kristine and Xena.  Go to the Mexicana Bar and hang out with Lorena, Fabian, Kristine and her friend.  Kristine puts money in the jukebox.  I am suprised that she plays 80’s hard rock.  One of the songs she played is “Wind of Change” by the Scorpions.  That song rings in my head as I go to bed at 3:00 AM.
