In the morning pop over to the jail for a consultation. In the afternoon walk down to the lakefront. Check out the ice fisherman out on the lake where it is froze over. Start to walk out on the lake then decide not to. Walk up to the Brady Street Bdrige. Get on the Oak Leaf Trail and walk out to Capitol Drive. Walk up to Oakland Avenue. Walk down to North Avenue then over to Farwell Avenue. Walk south back downtown.
Overtime
In the morning walk to the office to work all day on Saturday. Get there at 9:00 A.M. Work until 5:00 P.M. Walk to the post office to drop off the mail going out for delivery. Walk back to the office to work some more. Stay until after 7:00 P.M. Working overtime today.
Consultation in the cafe
Super cold again today. Go to the Safety Building in the morning for status hearings. Walk over to the courthouse for another status hearing. Go to the courthouse cafe for a consultation with a client. Take a nap in the afternoon. Go to Orange Theory at night.
Live at Leeds
Wake up to winter suckiness. Snowing outside. Very cold. Go to the courthouse in the morning for a status hearing. Go back in the afternoon for a sentencing hearing. At night walk up to the office and work on a few things. Listen to The Who: Live at Leeds (1970) on the Tom Wanderer Radio Experience on WMSE.
Back to the sixth floor
In the morning go back to the sixth floor of the courthouse for more jury trial. Stay there all day until the verdict is read in court. Drive out to the House of Correction for a consultation with a client. Go to Orange Theory.
Sixth Floor
In the morning, go to the sixth floor of the courthouse to continue jury trial. Stay all day for the jury trial. Later, walk to the office to work on a few case files. My mood goes from super tired to relaxed and happy as I get my work done. Go home. Watch a little television. Go to bed early in order to be re-energized for more jury trial tomorrow.
Obscenely overcharged
Go to the Safety Building in the morning for a jury trial. Case is adjourned. Go over to the courthouse for a different jury trial. Spend all afternoon picking a jury in that case. After work, walk to the corner market to get soda and water. Obscenely overcharged. At night go to Orange Theory. Listen to AOC and the rest of “The Squad” speak out for the entire hour on Democracy Now!
The polar bear is out in the snow with me
Walk out to the zoo. The snowstorm outside slowly builds. It grows into a powerful storm as I walk around the zoo. Only the polar bear is out in the snow with me. The rest of the animals are inside where it is warm and cozy. Struggle to trudge through the unshoveled sidewalks all the way back downtown. At night watch the Oscar awards show.
Crisis on Infinite Earths
In the morning go to the office and get a few things done. In the afternoon walk along the Oak Leaf Trail up to Brady Street. Walk back downtown. At night watch all the episodes from the Arrowverse that make up the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event. Too campy and too silly. Not very good.
Democrat debate
Go to the office in the morning. Go to the jail in the afternoon for consultations. Go to Orange Theory. At night walk up Prospect Avenue to North Avenue. Walk down Farwell Avenue to Brady Street. Walk down Cass Street back downtown. Listen to the Democrat Presidential debate from New Hampshire.
