Late to court because I stayed home to watch the new Game of Thrones episode “The Long Night”. The heroes are shown all stressed and scared in the moments of darkness before the dawn. When I get to court my cases are called right away. My timing ended up being perfect. Go to the office in the afternoon. Go to Orange Theory. Sleep poorly at night. My body aches all over.
Bucks get stomped
Go to the jail in the morning for a consultation. Walk to Miller Park while listening to the Bucks get stomped by the Boston Celtics in game one of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. At sunset walk up St. Paul Avenue to 16th Street. Cross the viaduct. Walk south to Lincoln Avenue. Walk back downtown.
Bango photo bombed at the grocery store
Go to Pick N’Save for groceries. See a Bango cut out. Take a picture. A lady walking up the soda aisle photo bombs it. Go to the office. Pick up my dry cleaning. Go back home. Do a water change on the fish tank. Snow storm hits Milwaukee. Lose energy to do anything else. Lay on the couch.
Watch the last episode of Gotham
Go to the office and work consistently all day. Go to U.S. Bank Tower for lunch. Go to Orange Theory. Take it easy on my bad knee. Watch the series finale of “Gotham”.
The Avengers
Drive to Racine for preliminary hearing. Drive back to Milwaukee for status hearing. Walk south to Lorena’s house. Hang out there for awhile. Drive to Latia’s house. Take her to see The Avengers: End Game. Drop her back off at home and give her a nice kiss good night.
Welcome to Shorewood
Go to the Safety Building for hearings. Drive to the Racine jail for a consultation. Go to the office. In the afternoon Walk up Lake Drive to Capitol Drive. Walk west to 6th Street. Walk back east on Locust.
Just another day
Go to the Safety Building for a status hearing. Go to the Criminal Justice Facility for a preliminary hearing. Go to the office to work all afternoon. Go to acupuncture appointment. Lay on the couch and watch NBA playoff games.
Sweep
Go to the Criminal Justice Facility for a couple of hearings. Go to the Safety Building. Go to the courthouse for jury trial. Case is settled. Walk along the lakefront at sunset. Walk to northpoint. Walk up North Avenue. Walk to the Fiserv Forum. Watch the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Detroit Pistons on the big screen televisions. Bucks sweep the series.
Easter basket for Xena
Go to Pick N’ Save in the morning to get groceries. Get a light blue Easter basket. Fill it with pink straw and lots of candy. Drop it off at Lorena’s house for Xena to find. Text Kristine. Tell her about the Easter basket for Xena. Walk along the lakefront. Only make it to the Brady Street bridge before my knee gives out. Hobble back home. Drive to Heather’s house in the afternoon for a cookout.
Bucks rolling over the Pistons
Clean the house while watching movie about the Rolling Stones tour in South America and Cuba. Walk south to Mitchell Street. Eat lunch at Cielito Lindo. Do a water change on the fish tank. Walk along the lakefront at sunset. Listen to the Milwaukee Bucks win game 3 of the first round playoff series over the Detroit Pistons. Walk up North Avenue and back downtown along the river. Stop at the FIserv Forum to watch the end of the Bucks game. Huge crowd gathered there. I am very impressed. Walk home. Lay on the couch and put ice on my sore knee. Listen to trance music.
