In the morning walk to the office. Get there early. Work had all morning. Getting things done reduces stress by quite a bit. Drive to Lorena’s house. Bring the Bango doll and the Bucks shirt to Xena. “Is this for me?”, she asks. In the afternoon drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Go to Orangetheory. Sore at night from the workout.

In the morning walk to the office. Do several court hearings over Zoom. Drive to Lorena’s house. Hang out with Xena. Drive home. At night walk to the FIserv Forum. There is a crowd gathered to watch the Milwaukee Bucks take on the Brooklyn Nets in game five of the playoff series. The Bucks are great in the first half. The crowd is happy. They fall apart in the second half and end up losing the game. The crowd is no longer happy.


In the morning drive to the Safety Building. Go in for two jury trials. One of them is dismissed. The other one pleads out. Drive to Lorena’s house. Hang out with Xena. Drive home. Take a nap. Go to Orangetheory. My left knee is very tender. Not much of a workout tonight.

In the morning walk down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Walk to the office. Pack up files for Monday. Get frustrated when some PDF’s won’t print out. Walk home. Clean the kitchen. In the afternoon ride my bike down to the Wind Point Lighthouse. Sit on a bench and eat crackers. Ride my bike back home while listening to the Milwaukee Bucks win over the Brooklyn Nets. The playoff series is now tied at 2-2.



In the morning walk down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Walk home. Drive to the jail for a consultation. The client is a bit slow. In the afternoon ride my bike west on the Hank Aaron trail out to the end. Ride home. Rest on the couch. At night watch “The Passion of Joan of Arc” (1928).

In the morning drive to the office. Do a couple of hearings over Zoom. Drive to the courthouse. Go in for a preliminary hearing. Walk to the office. Work in the afternoon. Walk home. At night watch my favorite episode of The Leftovers: “International Assassin”.

She is so full of imagination. Drive back to the office. Work for a while. Go to Orangetheory. At night walk to the Fiserv Forum. A large crowd is gathered outside to watch the Bucks playoff game. The Bucks win.


In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a quick hearing. Walk to the Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility. Go in for a consultation. Drive to the House of Correction. Go in for another consultation. Drive to Lorena’s house. Hang out on the sidewalk with Xena. Give her money for a paleta. She walks up to the man and hands him the money. He hands her the delicious paleta. She eats it while playing with me on the sidewalk. Drive back home. Walk to the office. Work some more. Go to Orangetheory.

Drive back home. Walk to the office. Work again. Walk down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Later walk to Brady Street and back home.
