In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go at it all day in jury trial. Cross examine the eye witnesses. Cross examine the police. Argue with the prosecutor. In the morning drive to the courthouse. Do a couple of court hearings over Zoom while waiting for the jurors to be brought up. Do jury selection. In the afternoon start the trial. After court walk up Prospect Avenue to North Avenue. It is nice and sunny again today.

They were all given to a civil case being heard down the hall. Covid strikes again! Go home early. Walk along the lakefront. It is nice and sunny.
In the morning do a water change on the fish tank. In the afternoon walk south to Bay View. Walk out to 35th Street. Walk to American Family Field. Walk by the stadium. The Brewers are playing their last home game of the regular season. They win. They also clinch the division title.
In the morning walk to the office. Work on a few files. In the afternoon walk south to 13th and Layton Avenue. Go in the Islamic Society of Milwaukee building for a tour. Walk back home. My knee is very sore.

This week I have worked way more than at any time over the past several weeks. Walk up to Marquette University. There are signs on all the light poles declaring the Ignatian Year. This is because it was 500 years ago, in 1521, that the founder of the Society of Jesus, St. Ignatius of Loyola, was injured in the battle of Pamplona. His right leg was shattered by a cannonball. While recovering from his wounds, Ignatius began to think about God all the time. He later became a priest and in 1539 formed the Order of the Society of Jesus.
