In the morning drive down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Drive to the courthouse. Walk to a table in the corner of the courthouse. Set up to handle some Zoom hearings. It functions as my desk for this purpose. Walk to the 6th Floor of the courthouse. Do a live hearing. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work all afternoon. Ride my bike to the post office to drop off the outgoing mail. Ride down to Canal Street. There is a duck couple sitting on a planter on the bridge. She is sitting on eggs. He is standing guard over them. Put down corn for them. The male is defensive at first but quickly realizes the good fortune that has come to him and starts eating.

Carnival of Souls

In the morning drive down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Complain all day about the cold weather. Drive to the courthouse. Go in for a couple of Zoom hearings. Go to a real court for a live hearing. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work all afternoon. Walk home. At night go to Orangetheory. I am placed in a rowing challenge with a very sexy looking young woman. She compliments me afterwards telling me that she has never been pushed so hard on the rower and that it was her best effort, all because of me. This sends me into a state of delirious joy. Witness doesn’t show up

In the morning drive down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Drive out to the House of Correction. Go in for a consultation. Drive to the courthouse. Go in for a preliminary hearing. Sit around all afternoon. Witness doesn’t show up. Case set over to another day. Go to bed early.

Audrey Hepburn

In the morning drive down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Walk to the office. Do a court hearing at my office over the Zoom app. Work the rest of the day on a variety of files. Walk home. At night go to Orangetheory. Watch a Netflix documentary about Audrey Hepburn.

Highway DT

In the morning drive down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Drive to the jail. Go in for a quick consultation. Drive home. In the afternoon ride my bike west on the Hank Aaron trail. Ride west on the New Berlin trail. Ride through downtown Waukesha. Ride to Highway DT. Turn around and ride back home.

Its a boy!

Rain all day. In the morning work around the house. Clean everything and do the laundry. Do a water change on the fish tank. In the afternoon drive out to Rashida’s apartment in West Allis. Go in for her gender reveal party. They pop a balloon and there is blue confetti inside. Its a boy!

Grandview Boulevard

In the morning drive down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Chase one goose off that is being a total jerk to everyone else trying to hog all the food. That goose stands way to the side honking away. I beleive in imposing socialism on these animals. Drive to the office. Do several hearings over Zoom. In the afternoon ride my bike west on the Hank Aaron trail. Ride out to Grandview Boulevard in Waukesha. Turn around. The skies start to turn blue as I get closer to home.

New season of Doctor Who

In the morning drive down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Walk to the office. Work all morning. In the afternoon take a very long nap. At night go to Orangetheory. A grey and rainy day. Start watching the new season of Doctor Who.

Flooded out

In the morning drive down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Drive to the office. Do a hearing over Zoom. Drive out to the House of Correction. Go in for a couple of consultations. In the afternoon ride my bike over the northern section of the Oak Leaf Trail. Have to ride around a section that is flooded out. At night go to Orangetheory.

Second shot

Drive to the Kosciuszko Community Center. Go in for my second COVID-19 vaccine shot. Drive to Mitchell Street. Go in to a furniture store to get a witness to sign an affidavit. Drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Ride my bike west on the Hank Aaron trail out to Greenfield Park. Ride east on Lincoln Avenue to 6th Street. Ride 6th Street back downtown. Summer weather today.
