Returns finally

In the morning drive down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Drive to the Safety Building. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Take a short nap. My energy returns finally. Walk to the office. Work all afternoon. Walk to the bank to make a deposit. At night go to Orangetheory.

Life has slowed down

Home of the High Life

In the morning drive down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Later in the morning ride my bike out to Muskego. In the late afternoon ride my bike out to Good Hope Road. Ride up to 60th Street. Ride through Washington Heights. Ride through Miller Valley. Home of the High Life. Ride around downtown. Beautiful warm weather makes me happy. At night watch “The Longest Yard” (1974).

Hales Corners

In the morning drive to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work on a few things. In the early afternoon, ride my bike out to Hales Corners. In the late afternoon ride my bike out to Good Hope Road. Wind my way back through the streets of the northside. Along the way run across a Black Lives Matter protest clogging up a street.

Get recharged

In the morning drive down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Drive home. Walk to the office. Draft several letters. Drive to the post office. Deliver the letters. Drive out to the House of Correction. Go in for consultations. Drive home. Take a short nap. Get recharged. In the afternoon walk to the office. Work all afternoon drafting an appeal brief. Walk to the post office to send out more mail. Walk home as the sun sets in the western sky.

Schlitz Audubon Nature Center

In the morning drive down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Drive home. Walk to the office. Do court hearings over Zoom. In the afternoon ride my bike north on Lake Drive. Ride out to the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. Walk the trails. Ride home. On the way get caught in a spot thunderstorm. Wait it out under a bridge with other bikers. Ride home in the sun again.

Teach Xena how to play football

Drive down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Drive to the office. Work for a short while. Drive to buy Children’s Advil for Xena. Drive to Lorena’s house. Give Xena the medicine. She chews on it. Drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Drive back to Lorena’s house. Teach Xena how to play football. A few times she sits down on the sidewalk to meditate. This is very interesting. Drive home.

In the afternoon take a nap. Clean the house while watching the HBO limited series “Chernobyl” (2019). While reading up on the subject I realize that today is the 35th anniversary of the disaster. Total coincidence!
