Get an ice cream cone

In the morning walk to the office. Do three hearings over the Zoom app. Drive to Lorena’s house. Play in the yard with Xena. Drive back to the office. End up spending the whole afternoon sitting in the office waiting to get my case called on Zoom. Ride my bike up the Oak Leaf trail. Ride to Kopp’s. Get an ice cream cone. Sit outside in the warm evening enjoying it.

Tiger baby

In the morning drive to the office. Work on a few things. Drive to the jail. Go in for a couple of consultations. Drive to Sam’s Club. Buy Diet Coke and Ice Mountain water. Drive to Lorena’s house. Have lunch with Xena. Got her a Happy Meal from McDonald’s. There is a Tiger baby toy inside. She loves it. We make up a whole story together as to how the Tiger baby wound up in a McDonald’s Happy Meal box. Drive home. Do a court hearing over Zoom from my living room couch. Walk to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Walk home. Go to Orangetheory. Drive to Bay View to pick up my bike. They ended up replacing the back wheel. There were “micro” tears along the rim on the old wheel. Drive back home.

Duck boats are back

In the morning drive to the office. Work on several files. Drive to the courthouse. Go in for a preliminary hearing. The video system is down. Can’t connect to the client imprisoned at the Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility. Case is adjourned. Drive home. Take a short nap. Do another court hearing over Zoom while sitting on the couch. Walk to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. The duck boats are back on the lagoon. Walk home. Go to Orangetheory. No mask required. My heart rate soars.

Come back in a couple of days

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Drive back home. Walk to the office. Work on getting out bills. Walk to the bank. Deposit a large check. Walk home. Take my bike to Bay View to get the broken spoke replaced. They tell me to come back in a couple of days. Drive home. Walk to Brady Street. Walk down to the lakefront. Walk around the Third Ward. My legs are sore the whole time.

Indoor dining has returned

In the morning walk down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Walk home. Clean the kitchen. Walk to the office. Get files ready for tomorrow. Walk home. Do a water change on the fish tank. In the afternoon walk up Humboldt Avenue to Capitol Drive. Walk to Culver’s. Indoor dining has returned. It has been over a year since I went inside for a cheeseburger. Get one and a sundae too. Walk east to UW-Milwaukee. Walk along the lakefront back downtown. My feet get sore. At night watch “All the President’s Men” (1976).

Discovers a broken spoke

In the morning walk down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Walk to the office. Work for a short time. Walk home. In the afternoon ride my bike out to Heather’s house. Sit out on the deck. Eat a steak dinner. Bryce discovers a broken spoke on my bike. He gives me a rear light for my bike. Ride home. Fall asleep on the couch.

Quinceanera

In the morning take my old television up to the office. I will set it up there. Ride my bike on the Hank Aaron trail while listening to the Milwaukee Bucks close out a sweep of the Miami Heat in the first round of the NBA playoffs. At night go to a music hall on 13th and Manitoba to attend a Quinceanera. The music is very loud. The females are beautiful. Drink a Modela beer. Later Xena gets there. Have fun with her. She pretends to be passed out drunk on the table from drinking. So funny. Spin her around on the sidewalk outside the music hall.

Can’t find it!

In the morning go to the courthouse. Lose my wallet. Retrace my steps. Can’t find it! Then I get a call. Someone from the District Attorney’s office found it on the sixth floor of the Safety Building. I am so happy to get it back. Stick around for a couple of hearings. Go home. It is rainy and very cold outside.

It is 4K

In the morning drive to the Courthouse. Go in for a couple of hearings. Drive to Best Buy. Buy a new television. It is 4K. Drive home. Set up the new television. Get the speakers lined up. Everything runs through the new Apple TV remote. Outstanding. In the late afternoon do a hearing over Zoom.

Very tough workout

In the morning walk to the office. Do Zoom hearings. Write a bunch of letters. Drive to Lorena’s house. Drop off some Children’s Tylenol for Xena. She is feeling sick. She is sleeping. Drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Drive home. Walk down to the lagoon. Put out seed for the ducks and the geese. Walk home. Walk back to the office. Work on a couple of things. Walk home.
