In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. It starts snowing. Walk to the grocery store. Stop at the No War on Iran! rally in Cathedral Square. It is sparsely attended. Walk home.

Get my bike out

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. It is 60 degrees outside. Get my bike out. Ride up the Oak Leaf trail out to Capitol Drive. Walk north to Hampton Avenue. Walk south to North Avenue. Walk north back to my bike. Ride home.

Jerk client and pleasant client

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing with a jerk client. He pleads out so I do not have to try his case next week. Excellent. Drive home. In the afternoon walk to the jail. Go in for a consultation with a much more pleasant client. Walk home.

Grazing in the gardens below

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for jury trial. Case is adjourned. Drive home. In the afternoon walk to the office. Work for a little while. Walk home. Walk down to the lakefront. It is windy and cold. Walk over the bridge from the art museum and see geese grazing in the gardens below.

Waubeka

In the morning drive to Fredonia. Walk west. Walk north. Walk to Waubeka. See the one room schoolhouse where the idea of celebrating Flag Day started. The wind picks up and it gets colder. See young cows hopping around their pen. Walk back to my car. Drive home.

Find them

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Clean out the fish tank filter. There is sand in the impeller. Take apart the motor and clean it out. Walk down to the lakefront. Put out peanuts for whichever squirrels might find them. Walk home.

Low energy morning

in the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Low energy all over the place. Drive home. Lay on the couch and watch “Killer of Sheep” (1977). My energy level rises the rest of the day.
