In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Get stuck behind two homicide sentencings. Sit through those proceedings. Finally get to my case. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Listen to Marquette beat the Vermont Catamounts in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

Red Bull car

In the morning walk to the office. Work all day. As lazy as I was yesterday, I was equally hardworking today. See a Red Bull car out my office window just parked across the street. After work walk to the post office to drop off the mail.

Prisons across the state

In the morning walk to the office. Spend all day on the phone talking to clients locked up in prisons across the state. Later drive to UW-Milwaukee. Get out and walk north to Hampton Avenue. Walk west tot eh Oak Leaf trail. Walk back to the car. Drive home.

Big East tournament championship

In the morning drive down to the Pleasant Prairie outlet mall. Buy a pair of shoes and a pair of shorts. Drive home. In the afternoon walk north to Locust Avenue. Walk east to Oakland Avenue. Walk home. At night watch Marquette beat Xavier to capture the Big East tournament championship.

Another snow day?

Wake up to a snowstorm. Court is cancelled. Another snow day? Yep. In the afternoon walk north on Martin Luther King Drive to Locust Street. Walk east to Oakland Avenue. Walk home.

Free Your Mind or Freeze Your Mind?

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. A judge appoints me to two new clients. In the afternoon go in to the Safety Building for another quick hearing. There is a long afternoon in front of me. Decide to walk north to Locust Street. See graffiti work with a dual message. “Free Your Mind” or “Freeze Your Mind”? Which way to go? Walk home as a snowstorm begins to hit.

Clouds begin to break apart

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Walk over to the courthouse. Go in for a jury trial. Case is adjourned. Walk back to the jail for another consultation. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work the rest of the afternoon. Later walk down to the lakefront. The clouds begin to break apart.
