Spring is around the corner

In the morning walk to the office. Do a couple of hearings over Zoom. In the afternoon drive to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Walk over to the courthouse. Go in for a couple of hearings. Drive home. Walk around in the sunshine. Spring is around the corner.

Work through a headache

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Stay there all morning for hearings. Work through a headache. Drive home. Take a nap. It is raining again today. Later take a walk around the Third Ward in high winds.

Doesn’t have time for my case

In the morning walk to the office. Work hard and get alot done. Walk home. It rains the rest of the afternoon. The court hearing I had for the afternoon is rescheduled over e-mail. That court is in trial and doesn’t have time for my case. Ok. Take a nap. Walk around the Third Ward. It is still raining.

Brewers opening day 2023

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. At home do a telephone consultation with a client up north in prison. Walk west on the Hank Aaron trail to 76th street. As I walk by American Family Field look up to see the flyover of a B-1 Lancer bomber there for Brewers opening day. The sound crashes the whole sky. The roof is closed so the fans inside don’t see it. Stop on a bench to do another telephone consultation with a client up north in prison. Walk north up 76th Street. It starts to rain. Listen to the Brewers blow out the New York Mets 10-0. Walk east on Wisconsin Avenue all the way back home.

Close to nothing again

In the morning do close to nothing again. In the afternoon drive to Canal Street near American Family Field. Get out and walk west on the Hank Aaron Trail. Walk to Wauwatosa. Walk south to West Allis. Stop at the Drunk Uncle bar on 68th and Burham to see the huge crowd already getting hammered at 4:30 in the afternoon. Walk back to my car. Drive home. At night watch “Drugstore Cowboy” (1989).

Close to nothing

In the morning do close to nothing. In the afternoon drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Drive home. Walk fast to my office. Do another court hearing over Zoom. Walk home. Walk west on St. Paul Avenue to 13th Street. Stop by the geese camped out on the Canal Street Bridge to give them some seed. Walk back home.

The old business school

In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for consultations. Drive home. Eat lunch. In the afternoon drive back to the jail. Go in for more consultations. Drive home. Walk west on St. Paul Avenue to 13th Street. Walk through the Marquette campus. See the old business school being torn down. Walk home.

Joggers running everywhere

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Walk home. Eat lunch. Walk back to the office. Work some more. Walk west up St. Paul Avenue then west up Canal Street. Walk west on the Hank Aaron trail out to 76th Street. Groups of joggers running everywhere. Turn around and walk back home.
