In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk to the lakefront. Throw out seed to some geese. The rest of them catch on to what is happening. They follow me up the lakefront walk in search of more.

More expensive than I planned

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Drive to the Pleasant Prairie Outlet Mall. Stop at the Polo Factory Outlet store to buy some pants and a shirt. It is more expensive than I planned. Drive to Domino’s in Franklin. The staff is goofing around. The pizza is suprisingly good. Drive home.

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Eat lunch. Walk back to the office. Work some more. Walk home. Watch a documentary on the life of Emma Goldman.

Uneventful day

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk to the grocery store. Walk home. Uneventful day.

Bleak Sunday

In the morning drive to Waukesha. Park at a Pick N’ Save parking lot off Sunset Drive. Walk around Waukesha on a gray and bleak Sunday. Get tired after a few hours. Drive home.

Behind a subdivision

In the morning drive to Waukesha. Park in a lot next to a George Webb’s. Walk for about seven hours all up and down Waukesha. Walk into a wilderness area behind a subdivision under construction. Walk back to my car. Go in to the George Webb for dinner. They have golf on the television. Drive home.

Faces up in their phones

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Drive home. Eat lunch. Drive back to the courthouse in the afternoon. Go in for more hearings. Drive home. It is over 50 degrees outside. Blow off going to the office. Walk to the Marquette campus. Walk with the students from the Lalumiere Language Hall out to the union. The students all have their faces up in their phones. Walk back home.

Converge on my location

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Walk to the jail. Talk to client about plea deal. It is a much better result than I had thought it would be. The client does not see it that way at all. Drive home. Walk down to the lakefront again. See hundreds of geese walking slowly across a grass plain picking at the frozen ground. I throw out some corn and sunflower seeds. They squak loudly and converge on my location rapidly. Walk back home.
