In the morning drive to Oconomowoc. Walk west to Ixonia. Turn around and walk back to my car. Drive home. At night watch “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly” (1965).

Bee buzzing around

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. In the afternoon ride my bike out to 70th Street. The Hank Aaron trail is closed again after 76th Street for the State Fair. Get out and walk around West Allis. Walk all around the outside of State Fair. See tons of people going in and going out. See some horses but no other animals. Sit on a park bench and watch a bee buzzing around on the ground. Walk back to my bike. Ride home.

In the morning walk to the office. Work on getting ready for the trial on Monday. The prosecutor e-mails me and says he’s going to dismiss the case anyway. Stop working. Walk home. In the afternoon walk north on Prospect Avenue. Walk west on North Avenue. Follow the river back downtown. Walk to the new Vel R. Philips Plaza. Read the history on the kiosks. Walk home.

Headache all day

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Eat lunch. In the afternoon drive back to the courthouse. Go in for more hearings. Drive home. Have a headache all day.

In the morning drive to Oconomowoc. Walk south to Dousman. The Dousman Derby Days is going on. Walk west. Walk despite the knee pain. Walk because of the knee pain. Walk back to my car. A rainstorm rages as soon as I sit down. Drive home.
