In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Eat lunch. Drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. Kill time between hearings sitting in the cavernous first floor hallway. Drive home.

In the morning drive to the House of Correction. Go in for consultations. Drive south to Highway 50. Park in a Woodman’s grocery store parking lot. Walk west on Highway 50. Walk into the Town of Bristol. Stop to say hello to a praying mantis walking up a driveway to a church. Walk down an old country road. See farmers using big tractors to harvest a field of corn. Walk back to my car. Drive home.
Walk to the U.S. Bank Tower
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for jury trial. Client pleads out. Drive home. Walk to the U.S. Bank Tower. Eat lunch at the Downtown Kitchen. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Take a nap.
South of Dousman
In the morning drive to Dousman. Walk south on Highway 67. Walk down country roads. See a ton of Trump signs. This is where his people live. Walk back to my car. Drive home. Watch the Packers hang on to beat the LosAngeles Rams, 24-19.
Antioch
Drive south of the border to Illinois. Walk around Antioch. Some roads are empty and some are too busy for a pedestrian to feel safe on. Drive home.
Another blue sky day
In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Ride my bike up Greenfield Avenue out to 70th Street. Get out and walk around West Allis. Another blue sky day. Ride back home.
Blow the lead
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work all afternoon. Walk home. The Brewers blow the lead in the top of the 9th inning and lose to the Mets. Season over.
Brewers come back
In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk north on Prospect Avenue. Stop for pizza. Walk home. The Brewers come back to beat the Mets and tie the playoff series.
The Brewers lose though
In the morning drive to the House of Correction. Go in for consultations. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work a while. Walk home. Ride my bike west on National Avenue. The road is in terrible shape and the traffic is out of control. Park at 70th Street. Walk around West Allis. Ride home along the Hank Aaron trail instead. Turn my head to see that American Family Field is hosting post season baseball. The Brewers lose though.
Sun and the lake
In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk down to the lakefront. Take in the sun and the lake. Walk back to the office. Work some more. Walk home.
