Great day of work

Go to the office and get a tremendous amount of work done.  Walk south to National Avenue then west to 16th Street.  Stop at the Comales for tacos.  Walk across the 16th Street bridge then head back east down Canal Street.

 

Movies instead of work

Go to the office in the morning.  Decide I am too tired to work and go home early.  Watch “Avengers: Infinity War” (2018) and “The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara” (2003).

Work around the courthouse all day

30 minutes on the Elliptical while watching documentary on mathematician John Nash.  Go to the Milwaukee Courthouse for hearings all day.  Go to the jail for a consultation too.  Walk along the lakefront to Northpoint while listening to Noam Chomsky lectures.

My mood improves as the day goes on

30 minutes on the Elliptical.  Walk to Brady Street in the morning.  Stop at the Metro Market on the way home and run into a prosecutor from Racine and talk to her for a little while.  Do a water change on the fish tank.  Walk to the soutside and hang out at Lorena’ s house for a while.  Call Kristine to give me a ride home but she is at work.  Stop by a church festival at Our Lady of Guadalupe.  I was down in the morning but became much more contented as the day went on.

Bike Ride

Sleep in late.  Ride bike to Miller Park and run into Emmet and Elise.  Ride bike east to Harley Davidson Museum.  Ride back to Miller Park.  Ride over to the Mitchell Park Domes.  Ride back home.

Welcome to German Fest

50 minutes on the Elliptical while watching a documentary on the creation of the Transatlantic Telegraph cable.  Try to drive to Racine but the freeway is shutdown.  Go to the Milwaukee County Jail for consultations instead.  Walk down to the lakefront to check out German Fest.

Summer continues

60 minutes on the Elliptical while watching a documentary on the building of the Alaska pipeline.  Walk up Prospect Avenue to North Avenue.  Walk to the Milwaukee Jail for a consultation.  Walk to Best Fish to get worms.  Walk around the Third Ward at sunset.

Work is everywhere today

20 minutes on the Elliptical while watching a documentary on the Aaron Burr-Alexander Hamilton duel of 1804.  Go to Kenosha County Detention Center for a consultation.  Go to the House of Correction for more consultations.  Go to a law office on Prospect Avenue to pick up a client’s file.  Go to the Milwaukee County Courthouse for a prelimary hearing.

 

Swirl Cone

50 minutes on the Elliptical while watching documentary on the Nuremberg Trials.  Go to the Milwaukee County Courthouse for cases in the morning.  Work all afternoon at the office.  Walk to Northpoint for a vanilla chocolate swirl cone and get back home as the sun is setting.
