In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. In the afternoon walk to the lakefront. Look for places to put peants out for squirrels to find. Listen to Harvard beat Dartmouth to remain undefeated. Walk home.

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Ride my bike to Forest Home Cemetery. Walk around the cemetery. The fall colors are exploding over the graves and the crypts. Ride home.



In the morning drive to the jail. Go in for consultations. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work on several files. Walk home. Drive to Farm and Fleet. Buy peanuts and corn for the squirrels. Drive home. Walk down to the lakefront and put out peanuts in all the spots that I think squirrels will look. See a ton of geese down there too. Walk home.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a hearing. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk down to the lakefront. See squirrels climbing trees, sitting on branches and hear one screeching from a tree top. See geese swimming in the lagoon. Throw out bread to them. Walk home.


In the morning walk up Broadway and stop in a fancy store to get fitted for new suits. Buy three suits and spend WAY more money than I planned to. It is better to look good than to feel good. Walk home. Walk to the jail. Go in for a consultation. Walk home.

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Walk down to the lakefront. See a squirrel sitting in a tree watching the world go by. Put down the corn I picked up on the road while hiking in Helenville yesterday. Walk home.

In the morning drive out to Helenville. It is a small unincorporated town in the midde of nowhere. Walk north on country roads. Walk east. Walk south. Get on the Glacial Drumlin trail and walk it back to my car. The right calf is in significant pain. Drive home.




In the morning walk to the office. Work briefly. Walk home. Walk around downtown while listening to Harvard beat Princeton. Walk home. Drive out to the Union House for dinner with the family. Enjoy steak and mashed potatoes. Eat until I cannot continue doing so. Drive home.

See the cloud formations over an empty Bradford Beach. Walk to Sendick’s grocery store on Downer Avenue. Get fish and chips from the deli. Walk home.
