In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. In the afternoon walk to UW-Milwaukee. It feels like summer outside. The trees are still mostly green. There are Halloween decorations out. It is nice. Walk home as the sun sets. At night watch “North by Northwest” (1959).

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in with three cases set for jury trial. Walk out with no cases set for jury trial. In the afternoon walk to UW-Milwaukee. See a squirrell sitting on a bench in front of the student union. It is an outgoing and friendly squirrell. Walk home as the sun sets.

In the morning drive to the jail for a consultation. In the afternoon walk south to Bay View. Walk west on Lincoln Avenue. Walk to the Forest Home Cemetery. Eat a taco in the cemetery. Walk north on 27th Street to National Avenue. Walk east on National Avenue. Listen to the Packers beat the Bears 24-14.

In the morning walk to the office. Work on getting files ready for next week. In the afternoon walk to UW-Milwaukee. The union is mostly empty. There are only a few students inside. Walk down to the lakefront. Walk back home.

In the morning drive to Racine. Go in for a quick hearing. Drive back to the office. Go in for another quick hearing over Zoom. In the afternoon sit around the office waiting to get on for another Zoom hearing. Work all afternoon on cases. Walk to Jing’s. Get pork fried rice. Go home and eat it. Go to bed early.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a couple of live hearings. Drive to the office. Do a couple more hearings over Zoom. Drive to Ian’s. Get a couple of slices of pizza. Drive back to the office. Do another court hearing over Zoom. Walk down to the lakefront. It is warm and sunny. The fall colors are taking over. At night go to Orangetheory.

In the morning walk to the jail. It is a nice and sunny morning. I have a nice walk to the jail. Go in for consultations. In the afternoon hang around and have lunch at the courthouse cafe. Go in for more consultations. Walk back to the office in the rain. That sucks. At night go to Orangetheory.

In the morning walk to the office. Do court hearings over Zoom. In the afternoon lose momentum. Take a long nap instead. Lay around and do nothing at night.

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a bunch of hearings. Jury trial case settles as the jurors are lined up in the hallway. In the afternoon there is more court. At night go to Orangetheory. In pain all night long. I had the time of my life!

Walk south to Lincoln Avenue. Listen to the Packers beat the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime. Try to keep walking north. My feet and my legs are too sore. It starts to rain. Turn back at the Art Museum. At night watch “The Curse of Frankenstein” (1957).
