In the morning drive to the Safety Building. Go in for jury trial. Client takes a plea instead. I am suprised. Drive home. Take a long nap. I needed it. At night watch “She Wore a Yellow Ribbon” (1949).

There is winning all around

In the morning walk to the office. Set up file for trial in the morning. Walk to American Family Field. On the way feed a male goose defending its mate who is sitting on eggs. There is always a pair at this location on the bridge over the Menomonee River. The Brewers are playing today. I am suprised by seeing a half empty parking lot. Walk over to Wisconsin Avenue. Walk back downtown. Walk to the Fiserv Forum. The Bucks are playing today. There is a large crowd filing into the arena. The Brewers and the Bucks both win. There is winning all around.

Drive by the sunset

In the morning walk around downtown. Walk to the lakefront. Walk up Lincoln Memorial Drive. Walk to UW-Milwaukee. Drive to Heather’s house. Eat a nice steak dinner. Drive by the sunset on my way home.

Sailboats in dry dock

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for some hearings. In the afternoon walk down to the lakefront. Walk by the marina. See the sailboats in dry dock. Walk up to Northpoint. Walk back home.

Windy opening day 2022

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a bunch of hearings. In the afternoon drive back to the jail. Go in for consultations. Walk down to the lakefront. It is incredibly windy. There is a downed tree on the Oak Leaf trail. Listen to the Brewers win the home opener over the St. Louis Cardinals, 5-1.

Go east

In the morning drive from Sparta to the Milwaukee County Courthouse. It is still dark outside when I leave. The sun rises in the sky as I go east. Do a bunch of hearings. In the afternoon walk to the office. Work all afternoon. Drive back to the jail. Go in for a consultation. At night watch “The Sixth Sense” (1999).

It is done

In the morning drive to the Monroe County Courthouse. Go in for jury trial. Give a closing argument. In the afternoon get a verdict. Finally, it is done. Drive back to the hotel. Go to bed early. I will be leaving before dawn for Milwaukee.

In the morning drive to the Milwaukee Secure Detention Building. Go in for a consultation. Drive back to Sparta. Get behind a Cheetos truck. Become hypnotized by the Cheetos truck. Pull over. Take a quick power nap to recover. Drive to the hotel. Check in. Call it an early night.

In the distance

In the morning walk to the office. Work on a few files. In the afternoon walk down to the lakefront. Walk way out to the edge of the water. Turn back to see the city skyline in the distance. Walk home.
