Scattered Halloween decorations

In the morning do a water change on the fish tank. In the afternoon drive to State Fair Park. Walk south to Grange Avenue. See Halloween decorations scattered along the way. Walk west to 108th Street. It starts to rain heavily. Stop in a restaurant for a Chinese buffet. The place is packed with people. Continue walking north to the Hank Aaron trail. The sun comes out. The sky is now totally blue. Walk back to my car. Drive home. The sky turns dark once again and it starts to rain. Listen to the Packers beat the Tampa Bay Buccanears.

Alano Club

Walk along Prospect Avenue. Stop at the Alano Club. Walk around. See the porch where those in recovery from addiction sit and watch the world go by. See the rooms where the meetings are held. See cool artwork about the prison of addiction. Walk to North Avenue. Get a couple slices of pizza. Walk home.

Slammed with all the hearings

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Get slammed with all the hearings I have to do. Run out of time and end up having a sentencing hearing set over to the afternoon. After work walk up Prospect Avenue to North Avenue. Stop for a slice of pizza at Ian’s. Walk back home.

Work all day long

In the morning walk to the office. Work on several files. Walk home. Eat lunch. Walk back to the office. Work all afternoon on several more files. Do a court hearing over Zoom in the late afternoon. Walk home. Work all day long.

Jeremiah Curtin

In the morning drive to the jail. It is raining. Go in for consultations. In the afternoon ride my bike out to 76th and Layton Avenue. The wind is against me the whole way. Walk south to Grange Avenue. Walk west to 108th Street. Walk by the Jeremiah Curtin boyhood residence. Jeremiah Curtin went on from this humble beginning to become a learned scholar who traveled the world and spoke many languages.

My first law office

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for hearings. They go by quickly. Drive home. Ride my bike west to 92nd and North Avenue. Walk north to Silver Spring Road. Walk west to 108th Street. Walk south to Mayfair Mall. Walk by the building that housed my first law office. It is now been converted into a fancy hotel. Walk back to my bike. Ride home.

Back and forth

Ride my bike north to Green Tree Road. Walk north to the border of Ozaukee County. The sky goes back and forth from sunny to overcast and back again. Listen to NFL games. Walk back to my bike. Ride home as the sun sets.

Watch the sun light dance all around me

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for a bunch of hearings. Run around to five different courts. Squeeze in a jail consultation too. In the afternoon ride west on State Street to 76th Street. Lock up my bike in downtown Wauwatosa. Walk north to Capitol Drive. Walk west to 92nd Street. Walk south back to my bike. Watch the sun light dance all around me as I walk. Very Happy.
