Look out a window

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go see my client who is waiting in the bullpen in the back. She is crying. I ask why. She says it is because this is the first time she has been able to look out a window since she was arrested. (There are no windows to look outside in the jail). I almost start crying myself. We go to court and make our appearance in front of the judge. Drive back to my office. Do a sentencing hearing over Zoom. At night go to Orangetheory. Run a mile on the treadmill despite my ongoing knee pain.
