My phone is stolen!

In the morning walk to the office. Work for a short while. In the afternoon walk up the Oak Leaf trail out to Locust Street. Walk back down to Brady Street. Walk towards Water Street. As I walk up Milwaukee Street a kid runs from behind me and snatches my iPhone out of my hands. He jumps into a waiting car. My phone is stolen! I track the phone as it goes all over the north side. The phone is locked. They stop at Wal Mart to try to get money for it by using a recycling kiosk. It is rejected by the system. The phone is useless to the thief. It is a glorified paper weight.
