They Won’t Believe Me

In the morning drive to the courthouse. Go in for several hearings. Sit through closing arguments in a jury trial waiting for my case to be called. Stealthly listen to rock music on my airpods during the whole thing. Drive home. Walk to the office. Work for a while. Walk home. Watch “They Won’t Believe Me” (1947). Guy is on trial for murder, that he is innocent of doing. However, he panics as the clerk is about to read the verdict. He tries to jump out the window. Shot dead. Then the clerk reads the verdict: “Not Guilty”. The movie ends.
